Got a call today from a "Bill Meiner" re: "the Blackhawk Country Club."  He got my name and number off my business page.  No thank you.

I had a vm from somebody named Harley (couldn't make out the last name) looking for a CPA who services Fairfax and Arlington (VA).  It sounded bogus, so I deleted the message, Googled the phone number, and here I am.  Bogus!

I received a voicemail from a Bill Miner saying he got my number online and wanted to talk about Cypress Lake Country Club.  When the callback number included 877  (1-877-417-2675 X323),
I didn't go any further! Cannot tolerate misleading calls!!!!!!!!!!  

Dan Dryer called me and left a VM.  He said he found me online ( I am in real estate)  and said he wanted to discuss some 'projects' he was working on in my area.  C'mon Dan, let me know in your VM that you are selling to me.......

Received call today from 561-393-3464 from Harley Kaybeck (sp?) and he asked to call him back at 877-417-2675 x303. 877-417-2675 is Premier Publishing. Left a msg with Harley asking him to take my number off his list.

Got a message from 'Brian Besta' at (877) 417-2675 x.311.  Called back to ask to be removed from call list (I've been called about 'the project' a few times before and--since I sell building materials--I can't tell everyone who mentions a project to blow it out their @ss).  Dialed x.311 and get the vmail for 'Jack Townsend.' What an extensive network of telemarketers!

Me too - just now got a call from what came up on caller ID as Premier Publications telephone number 561-393-3464.  The voicemail left by a man was that his name was Stuart Miller calling for North Shore and Brookville Country Clubs and that he's looking for a "good" family photographer.

Same thing for me. Received call today 3/14/13 from an "Erick Eckley".(.sounded like) wanting to contact a RE/MAX agent (which I am), about the Birmingham Country Club..which I have no dealings with..

received a call from Alex Turner, putting together a directory of preferred vendors for West Chester Country Club, Radley Run Country Club, Manor Country Club and Edgemont Country Club.  Said they got my info from Houzz.com.  Wants to feature me in member only directory, $400, $600 or $1000 for 1/4, 1/2, or full page add.

If you have been there and done that why are you still posting stuff on here? You must have nothing better to do with your time. These books actually do bring business and if you really cared about your company or business you would put yourself into some of these just for the exposure!!

This # is used to garner sales from you....as a business. They represent a publishing Co. If you don't need the service, just ignore the call. They do not say their business name, which leaves me skeptical - I never call these sort of #'s back, I just google them and see...that I dont need the services. Hope that is helpful.

If that is the case, then why do none of the country clubs mentioned by the caller know anything about the publication?  I called the four country clubs this guy mentioned after hanging up the phone and NONE of them knew anything about the publication

Been called by this company (or at least one extremely similar) before, and just received another call just now.  Said they work with local country clubs to do mailings to their members.  Want local businesses to advertise in their publication.  I was reeled in before because the price was too good to be true.  They asked for my credit card, which I declined to give because I wanted a contract first.  They threw a fit and attempted to pressure me into doing it, anyways.  Long story short, didn't give them my number, called the country clubs they said they were working with and they all had no clue what I was talking about - that they don't sell their member's info and/or they don't mass mail.  Scam.

This is not a scam. It's a real publishing company that produces Golf magazines for country clubs. If you got a call it was probably regarding advertising your company in the magazine.

A male left me a professional - sounding voice-mail on my business cel phone saying he found me on the web and that I seemed like a reputable company; to phone his extension 303.  I Googled (877) 417-2675 and am grateful for all your posts, which saved me time/money, cel phone minutes, and extra frustration.  I am not defending these callers as I consider them to be thieves of time, money, energy, trust, etc.  Still, I am NOT posting the caller's full name, as I don't think people wish to do these jobs; I feel it's desperation to earn more money than minimum wage or less, which I don't even know is a given in today's economy.

Got a call from Josh -- 877-417-2675, ext. 317. Said he was from Elmwood Country Club and wanted to refer customers to my employer.  Decided to check out the Elmwood Country Club website.  No listing for a Josh or that phone number.  "Googled" the phone number and found this site.  Also found a listing for Gold Coast Publishing Group.  "Josh" is obviously being deceptive.  Whether or not he works for a legimate company, he should be upfront about where he works and why he is calling.  Thank you all for the information.

Got call from 561-417-2342 from some woman named herself Missy Baker, she left the number to call back as 877-417-2675 x 322 No company info or the reason for the call was left on VM. For all I care is not the way to do any biz. STOP CALLING and wasting peoples time. F****** as******!

thank you!! its a great publication, and yes most of the "whiners" on the site with negative energy are those with no business so they play on the computer all day. You are so right, nothing wrong with not having funds allocated for advertising, BUT its a great way of getting your name in the right area for businesses.

you seem to understand the whole idea behind the publication....all these negative slurrs about sales and salespeople, shows me....you all are so bored because your business is bad b.c u dont advertise enough in the right dempgraphics, and thats why you have time to spew your negativity. Advertising makes the world go round, you dont have to do it....but you will benefit if you do.

I got a call at work from this company and they left a number for my boss to return. I checked it out because I didn't want to waist his time and I saw all this. I ran it by him more to get a laugh but he said "Oh, we already advertise with them" turns out it's actually where we got one of our best jobs last year. They were calling to see if we wanted to renew our space. People need to use due diligence when checking something out and not just a few crazy people who probably don't have the money to advertise anyways!

Got a call from 877-417-2675 from Mike Mysnik at extention 311. I knew it was a bunch of crap but checked on here just to be sure. He said it was about a project at the Palm Beach Polo Club. I really don't understand how telemarketers sleep at night knowing their existence is useless.

Also, just to let you know, we are a plumbing contractor and also working on a yacht club in the local area.  .

Got a call today from this number.  A "Mike Mysnk" or something like that.  I told him I needed more info or the owner wouldn't call him back. He said fine, don't have him call then.  I said you got it and hung up.  Figured it was some type of advertising call.  Cocky attitude...no thanks...we will spend our advertising dollars elsewhere!!!

This morning I received a voice message from a "Sharon Young" who would like to discuss with me a "project" she is doing for La Jolla Country Club. Caller ID stated it was a number from: 1-561-393-3464, but she left a contact number at 1-877-417-2675 x319. I was skeptical cause of the area codes were not local so I looked it up. Not mad, this stuff is bound to happen when you have a business BUT it was disappointing to be mislead.

this guy did make himself look like an a**, i got a call from them they were kind and up front, didnt promise me ill become rich but i will generate some good business and get the brand rec. i was seaching for. The books were going to be delayed due to a delay in relase of tour schedules, which they gladely showed me online and proved to me. i declined due to $ at the time but they didnt hound me or bother me at all. i got one more call from them and i told the guy i spoke to someone already he said sorry and he will take me off the list. ive noticed with telemarketers that if you treat them like humans they will treat you with the same respect. I saw their product at the club and if they contact me next year i will come aboard....its definatly better then the penny saver!!
