Legally, they cannot refuse payment from you. I would be contacting a lawyer for advice.

I just want to add, I am in no way affiliated with this company at all! I'm just a struggling single mom working 3 jobs who was down on her luck a few years ago and my CC got away from me... My whole point of writing on here is because I was trying to find a place to "Review" this company, because believe it or not, i actually had a good experience with them. If you are serious about paying off your debt, and you pay in a timely manner every month, they will work with you! Not all collection agents are RC Cola's ..... Unfortunately, they are few and far between though!

This is indeed a Collection Agency. I've been dealing with them for the last 2 years while i paid off a Credit Card (my fault, not theirs) Regardless, I got one of the NICEST Collection agents out there. I couldn't have asked for a better person to deal with and I definitely was LUCKY to get her. If it is Yvonne that you get on the phone, she will work with you. She is very kind and she understands that things happen. Without her help (cut the interest as long as I paid on time every month-this saved me a TON) I would STILL be paying this CC off today.. But happy to say, I made my LAST payment yesterday! :) They are just doing their Jobs.

If you just call them back they will remove your name. I've had two calls from them on different phones and both times I clarified who I was and they removed my number.

Jenny and Kim are either both full of crap or found the only good person in that office - they are trying to collect a credit card bill from my wife and the b---- on the phone demands an amount we cannot afford and refuses to work out anything other then what she wants - even threatened to seize our house over a $2000 bill - They are nothing but a bunch of ignorant, holy than thou, a--holes who do not respect peoples situations. I lost my job 3 years ago and have not been able to secure employment for more then 1/2 of what I used to make and these people want a weeks pay up front then half that every 2 weeks - we tried to offer 1/2 of what they want and they refused.

Totally agree with you. The woman I spoke with was VERY kind to me and worked out a payment plan with me as well.. Not all of them are bad!

It's a collection agency.

After two months of harrassment by these idiots, I finally had to write a letter to them and have the police call them to tell them I am not the person they are looking for. They called my cell phone 6-7 times a day asking for "Tina Bradbury." They are nothing but rude and ignorant scumbags who do not listen to anyone but authority. Hopefully the calls will stop now that I had to go to extremes or there will be some very serious repercussions for this company from me.

Jenny, are you one of their staff and why are u on this site and by the way what record are you setting straight.
If you know you really had calls from them and you resolved it please show proof and dont forge them.
These people are very annoying and please they dont tell me about adherence to the law for they call as many times and even call your work place asking for payroll information to garnish your wage

As someone who recently had to deal with this company I thought I should set the record straight. They are a collection agency that collects credit card debt.

For one they do not deal with cell phone bills so I have no idea what Scott is talking about.

Second they are not telemarketers.

Third they were very kind to me and worked with me through this. I owed money and they worked out a plan with me to pay off my bill and after a few months I'm finally debt free with them.

I'm embarassed to say I've had to deal with other collection agencies as I lost my job and was down on my luck. These people were a lot nicer to deal with than some of the others I had calling me.

Also know your collector laws! They are not allowed to call you and leave messages more than once a day. However you can't report them for calling you in general. If it's the wrong number why don't you call and tell them that? I'm sure they'd stop calling you if you don't owe them money. Why would they want to deal with you at all if you don't owe them money?

very persistant, annoying , credit bureaus dont call your house! who are they kidding , so i decided to purchease a new electronic thing called " tele-zapper" for about $25.99 blocks all calls from unknown numbers and telemarketers! great gadget, anyhow do not answer these call!

Just calls and leaves messages.  Kimberly is her name that calls me. I'm just doing this cause I think it's great for people cause you can google it and it's just helps. More should list their weird and anoying phone calls. Don't comment on my spelling though! I KNOW

Some body call me back at home (after they did the same thing last year), looking for somebody that we do not recognized.
This people is quite annoying to us, specially that we are a working family.
The way the left the message somehow I considered rude and I just wandering If we can report it to some authority that what ever they are doing is harrasment
