Katie Couric didn't do a story on them she did a story on filming at peoples homes.  FilmingLocations.com is b***s***.  Anyone who has given them money has not gotten their return.  PERIOD.

This company is 100% hoax.  They have not connected any properties to Hollywood for filming.  Don't sign up with them.

I did extensive due dilgence on this company and in three days they have yet to provide me with any references!  Number two they DO NOT have a good reputation with industry.  If you google www.filminglocations.com and add scam, you will find that IMDB refers to it as UNCLE SCAM!!!!!
Furthermore, the have a Terms of Service that is so confusing that I couldn't possibly trust them. Finally the web I originally saw is different that the one that is up today. I'm not sure how I got it exactly but it listed its highest premium serice at 9.95 per MONTH. And when I to "Vince", he confirmed that was the only charge!

They seem to charge an awful lot for something like this. I found ilocationscout and they seem to be on the up and up. I mean there's no way you're gonna get picked for a movie or something in one month or so.  Anyway, i hate unsolicited phone calls!

I wentto the website - filminglocations.com and found that they do charge up to $399 -- after you submit your information.  This doesn't feel legitimate. For example, they mention that it's tax deductible. Only a business can deduct an advertising expense. There is no personal deduction for that. This is misleading.

Hi there I have suscribed to this company but cannot pull up their websit at newproperties@filminglocations.com - which site did you use to view yur property?

James how do know this isn't ascam ? anyone can set up a web site theses days ? what research have you done , are you from mass. and have you heard from them since ? i'm not trying to be awise guy but would like to know as much as i can before i hand over $99.99 . thank -you for any input you can give me.

i got an e-mail and then deleted it. aweek later i got a phone call from the same # as everyone else . i spoke with aman by the name of scott. told him i would get back to him. how do we know if this is a scam or not who can we call ? it would be a terrible if it was the truth

It happen to me today Greg Monty  called to solicit a listing and bla bla bla , thanks for your messages I anot doing it .

I recieved a call from them but I had no problems,I spoke with a girl named Kate and she heled me upload my pictures to the website it is a real thing.I saw my property on the website and it allowed me to give a full description.I checked and they do have a good history with the film industry.My suggestion would be to talk to kate,she was helpful and explained everything about the process

Just receive a call from Greg Monty, said they choose my home to shoot two movies.  and with futher checking they would call me back in  fifteen minutes.  Just enought time to check them out.  Thanks for the warning.

Kelly I just wanted to let you know someone with this number was claiming they were looking for property to make a movie with Brad Pit. I seem to feel uneasy with this company.

yeah, just got a call from the same number 8774193456.  I received an email unsolicited last week....stating that you could get money for having your house in a film.  I started to look at it....sign up, etc. then it asked me to pay to list it and then I immediately closed the browser.  They must have captured my information none-the-less.  Looks like a scam.

caller identified themselves as a property listing company that promotes houses for use by the filming industry.  For a low fee (199) - you too could advertise your personal home to filmmakers looking for a location to shoot.  garbage.

I keep getting calls from 877/419-3456.  When I answer, they hang up.  However, they leave a message all the time asking me to purchase their product of location property.  How can I get them off my back.
