Flooded me with calls. Call log shows 36 calls from this number, all within the same minute!! They never leave a message. I add them to the block list, but within a few days, it starts up again. So I have to delete the number from "blocked" list, re-add it to the list and save....only good for a couple days

They are calling me all the time too!  Emailing me (how did they get that I wonder?) with threats of a lawsuit.  The english grammar in the emails is very very bad... obvious they are NOT american.  This is a scam.  This is what was said:
Our company (ACS INC) has authorized us to recover the full amount due to them.  WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS MEAN?

As we put your SSN into our National Checking Database System, we found that you have been never charged for a fraud activity & that is the reason Court has decided to give you a chance to take care of this issue outside the Court without having a report on your Credit History and SSN. Now if you want to take care of this issue than you have to pay an out of Court Restitution Amount which includes the late payment charges, penalty charges, interest rate on the loan amount and actual loan amount = Restitution Amount which is $964.52 or else the lawsuit amount which is about $4203.86 WILL BE DOWNLOADED AGAINST YOU. If you want to settle this matter today itself, then you can get some percent deduction on the Restitution Amount and you can take care of this issue by making the payment of the Settlement Amount today. You have to send us a promissory note to stop your case file temporarily out of the court house. So get back to us ASAP.

We are very sorry to say that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within seven days. Your SSN is put on hold by the US Government, so before the legal charges get really serious against you, we are notifying you about these legal charges. But as we were not able to reach you so we are sending you a final notification Email. Your case file#G : 0513PA; and since it?s a legal matter you will need our help, so call us right now to make a payment and freeze down this case.

I have been receiving calls from them for over a year as a message on my phone.  But finally today returned called.  The orig message said they were a company called STP.  When I returned the call and gave my file number I asked who STP was.  That idiot say she did'nt know and wanted my phone number.   Since they called me over 100 times in the last year I felt that they should know it.  Of course she hung up on me.  I called her back and got voice mail. I told her what I thought of her and also that they certainly would be hearing from my attorney   I am an affuent 65 year old.  I absolutely have an attorney.  I have called and made an appointment to see what legal rights I have and what damages I can claim.  By the way, the rude thing on the phone is named Olivia Banks.  She will also be named in my suit.

I am receiving calls from this number at least once a week.  They identify themselves as STP Group.  They leave a voice mail telling me that my file is being escalated and they will make a recommendation to their client.  That is all they say.  Have no idea what they are calling about.

This is a payday loan company called GTI Holdings. They have called me repeatedly at work. I called them today and told them that they are not to contact me at work, that they should contact my attorney. The woman I spoke to was very rude and very unprofessional and she told me that they don't work for me, that they will not call my attorney, that my attorney needs to call them. I called my attorney to let him know what they told me. One hour after I had spoken to GTI Holdings, they attempted to call my work number again. I am going to report them to the Attorney General's office for my state and also to The Federal Trade Commission (FTC). These people are ruthless. They will not stop harassing you unless you take legal action against them.

They claim they are STP well really then give me free oil for my car! But really this is a scam, they have also claimed I had a pay day loan from 2010 which I did not. They call for a few weeks then stop for six months and it starts up again.  They have called my family members which tells you right there they are a scam company because by law with HIPPA in place they are not allowed to do that if they were ligit. So either just let the phone ring or take out some aggression.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

I agree with everyone.  These people have no soul.  They called my brother's house and talked about avoiding litigation.  I have never lived there.  These are the people that ruin our country.  I told them I have had the same number since jan 2012 and the same address and have received no information in regards to this loan.  Why now 2 years later.  Also, I can't have a day to research my bank account? Please go away.  Ms. Chavez started yelling at me.  Real classy, like any lawfirm would employ someone like that.  Also,  you don't check with legal counsel to remove the late fees.  Please no one pay.

I told them to forward on my paperwork to the litigation stage.

Every six to eight months these calls start.  They refuse to send something in writing.  They say they deposited $1053 in my checking account in January of 2012.  Never happened.   I told them I was looking at the bank statement & my bank manager advised me it's a scam.  They stopped calling.  Now they are at it again.

Have been getting calls from them over and over.  I don't answer because they always call while Im at work and they never leave a voicemail.  I've googled the number and it appears to be a 800 number for a State Farm Insurance Agency.  However, Ive looked up the direct number and called them and they haven't  tried to contact me at any point.  Not to mention I live no where near or close to the area that the agency is located.  Im beginning to think they are scam artist because now they are also calling my work number, however, when I answer they hang up.
