Yes it is a scam. They take the money which is exactly 339 dollars and you get a cd that is suppose to be software to start up your business - It's NOT! It is 339 dollars worth of free info I could have gotten myself from a simple google search.

I found out that most medical billing at home is done by firms that contract with the physicians not the actual medical biller themselves.

This is a scam, don't do it.

This is a toll free support line that is in connection to a scam with 800 501 9408.  After giving your information to pay for a security software program you are "required" to have to continue with the job and training, you are given this number as a support line.  BEWARE. It is by the same person who records the message for the 800 number.

What is asked of you is $299 for the program. The total is then $339 with tax and shipping.  They asked me for my card information, email address, and shipping address.  They tell you that it will take at least 14 business days to have the program shipped to you because it must be personalized. DONT BELIEVE THAT!  You are then supposed to call the 877 number after you completed the training, which you will never receive!

Call your bank to stop the payment immediately.  The guy seems to always call around 5 which is perfect because by the time you realize what has happened, your bank has closed already!!!  Then contact the FBI and report the scam.  Also contact your state attorney.
