They've left several messages for me. Same line -- I entered a contest over a year ago, contest is closed, I won a Navigator or another prize, they're not time-share, etc.

I have received two calls from this Awards and Claims center, both times stating that I had submitted an email online with my personal email address and that I had WON a Lincoln Navigator, that it wasn't a time share, and etc.  I was fooled by something like this for sure, but how can I find out if this is legit or not?

Recently, I won a Licoln Navigator according to this person by the name of Dave or David from this "Claim Center". I called the number and typed in extention 241, and it rang a couple of time then went to the voicemail. I was a full to leave a message, but i did anyways. The person havent't returned my email. In addition, I don't ever recall signing up for a an award online. I never do that. Personally, i think that this is a scam.

Received a message from Mark that I won a Lincoln navigator. He commented that this was not a time share. I called the number, spoke with Mark. He clarified that I had not actually won the car, but was in the running to win one of 4 top prizes. The other prizes were $45,000 in cash, vacation time in Hawaii, $2500 in cash, or a 32 inch flat screen tv. I was guaranteed to win one of these prizes if I showed up at the Holiday Inn on Wisconsin Avenue in D.C.  And I couldn't come unless I brought my spouse. He verified my home address, but did not ask for social security number. I would have to listen for 90 minutes at the Holiday Inn regarding the grand opening of some new travel agency. My guess is:  SCAM   with a capital S.

I received that same identical call Nick is referring to except he didn't say I had to listen for 90minutes regarding the grand opening of some new travel agency.  I'm curious to find out more about this because I do believe I entered a contest recently to win a Lincoln Navigator.  :o(

I supposedly won a Lincoln Navigator. I recieved one of these calls in the past before though. However, I recieved this call on March 18th, 2008 @ 4:56pm. I just now got the message due to me checking my voicemail all late.

So, i suppose to Call Deborah back to claim my Lincoln Navigator, which i don't want...cause I already have a Lincoln Navigator at 1.877.423.3715 extension -2340 . I'm not going to call. She even claimed that this isn't a telemarketer, or some type of time share thing that you have to do. She diad that the vehicle is already mine. I just need sometype of claim number, and choose a location where i can pick up my Lincoln Navigator.

I also received a call. From John, who sounded more like a Fredricko. They left a message and a claim #.
Saying the same things. Lincoln Navigator and other prizes.
Phone# he left was 1877-423-3715.
I enter things all the time So I was a bit fooled by this to.
But unless someone calls me up and says you Won you won the Grandprize, I think it's usually a scam. Usually when you win something they are fairly formal and tell you which company they represent and so on.
I just want to thank you guys for posting, It's hard enough to plan and budget and save for what you really want without having people swindle you into a product you really were not looking for and half of a free trip. Or whatever their doing.

I got a call from 1800 977 7504 for ext. 8067. Same line Lincoln Navigator entered online or at some store...blah blah blah, congratulations. I called just because curiousity got the best of me, got a woman who transferred me to some person who went directly to voicemail. Then promptly decided to look up on line anyone else who had heard of this obvious scam! And low and behold....I am not alone!

I don't know what number it was, I don't have caller ID, but I was told I was a finalist for a lincoln navigator. Riiiight. For one I don't remember entering any such contest (though I recently entered one for free gas), and I wouldn't know how to drive one of those big things anyhow.
It really pisses me off if you enter a contest they get your name and number and abuse your hopes like this to screw you around with some other kind of sales crap. It's completely dishonest. Why would someone call you if you were a finalist and not actually the winner? They can't tell you that you won something though as its grounds for sueing.

Got a call today that I won a 2008 Linclon Navigator, $45,000 cash, or one of two other un-named prizes.  I need to call 800-504-6037 with my name, address, email, etc.   Caller states they are with Global Network in Dublin, Ohio.

I should probably hurry and call but I am still waiting on my big lottery winnings from the UK.   ha!

I' be happy to win a tank of gas.  :-)

I got the call several times and I felt it was some bu***hit. My wife made me attended and just like i feared it was a sells pitch involved. I was told to get future business.  I was handed a scratch off ticket GOD Damn I actually won something too.  I recieved a check for $2500. I was asked a month later to share my experience on line because the owner heard his company getting a bad rap from this site.

I got the call earlier and i just called it back. The man who identified himself as "Derrick" (whose voice also happens to be the one on the main line greeting as well, told me i had entered an online drawing 12-18 mos ago and my ticket was selected as a winner. I was told ive won either a lincoln navigator, 2,500 dollars (or was it $25,000?) or a fancy vacation of some type.

He then told me if I held a moment he would give me my claim number and the address of the place where my prize is being held. Then he said "i can give you the website where you filled the form out so you can feel secure with this and know that im not a telemarketer or a time share scam. Ma'am i wouldnt waste your time stealing your money because our company doesnt have the time or money to waste on scamming people in today's economy." then i said, fine, please give me that information because i never filled anythng out. Then he tells me "My systems are down due to the hurricane so i can call you back in 5-10 minutes." i said "oh no, where is your office located??" he said "Michigan." hahahaha i didn't know the hurricane affected michigan. hmm.

I can't wait till he calls back so i can read him these comments one by one.

i just went on the Federal Trade Commission's website to report these guys. They say if your phone number is on the national Do Not Call registry, you can file a complaint against a fraudulent caller.

unfortunately, your phone number has to have been registered on the Do Not Call list for more than 30 days, and i just registered my phone a week ago (because of all these stupid calls)

Please help! i want to bust these losers!!!! I HATE scammers! Someone who's registered PLEASE please go on donotcall.gov and report them! Thanks.

I called 1-888-789-1703. My husband and I went to the 90 min meeting 4 months ago at Sunshine Promotions.  We've participate in timeshare meetings in the past with only one bad experience. (The salesperson for Wingate in San Francisco was rude when we told him we were not interested).  Although the meeting was a bit long. The ppl were nice and the meeting was informative. I asked them for customer reference and it just so happened one of the ppl who went on one of their free trips lived in my neighborhood.  After the presentation we received a free Sony video camera, cloth bags and other travel promotion items like first aid kits, pens, sanitizing lotion etc.

After getting rave reviews from their referral. We scheduled a trip to the Bahamas and had a wonderful time. We were treated like VIP's everywhere we went and mentioned Sunshine Promotions. We paid a total of $138.00 for taxes. Thats it. Airfare, ride to & from our hotel suite (2 bedroom, 2 bath, living room, dining room, full kitchen, balcony facing the ocean), all our meals, drinks, golf equipment rental and fees, boat tours (we went on 3 long tours that included lobsters and conch & shrimp dishes), beach parties & cabanas were free! The entire time we expected a shoe to drop. Everything was just too good to be true.

This trip was a dream. I have no complaints at all !!! We video taped the trip with the free camera.

my husband and I received the same call today. I posted it earlier. I ended up with a knock on our door this evening. It was a summons for my husband. I figured it out. They call you to say all that, and they make sure you pick up the phone and say who you are, and make sure that your spouse is with you. I heard of this a while back, and this is how they caught fugitives; by saying that they won. I find it strange that my husband received a summons on the same day as the call. It was for a credit card. So, if any of you get served it is because of that phone call. I betcha anything on that.

My call came from 877-844-2964 but the spiel was identical.  I was very wary but let Charmaine, who called me back, go through it.  It took me awhile to get to this site.  Complaintsboard.com has some similar stories, apparently about the parent company.  Thanks, everyone!
