Apparent phish.  Claimed my account was restricted, didn't specify which account; was sent as text message to a phone that was never given out with any account.

same, received text message saying acct was restricted- directed to call back asap.  Didn't.

The phone number instructs your account has been restricted. It does not say what account or who the call is from. I called the number back and it asks for your account number and the expiration date. Apparently they are trying to obtain any information on any account so they can obtain them to make off with your credit line! Watch out and do not give them any numbers from any of your cards!

Scammers have moved from emails to texting.  These are phishing attempts to get your private information.  

The owner of cuna.net has nothing to do with the Credit Union National Association and is trading on their name hoping that people will believe that they are employed by CUNA.

My son got this same message "account is restricted" on his cell phone and I came here and noticed that my son wasn't alone. I love this website!!! - it had an email address as well - 8774268451@cuna.net

I received a text.  So I called and got a woman's voicemail, her name was susan.  I tried the number a little later and got a voice response system.  It told me that my "account" is restricted.  Then it asked for my credit card number, then my exp. date, then my pin number.  I tried to get to a representative, no luck.  Sounds really hokey.  It could be ID theft attempt easy.  I called the number again and got that susan's voicemail and left a message about fraud and to call me if she is legit business.  dont ever give that info out EVER! unless you make the call and know who you are calling
