Because so many have said this is Hastings, I called the number back. My phone was not in their system and yet I've gotten several calls. We don't rent from Hastings. I'm just going to block the number and go on with my life. Mistakes happen. At least they're a legal business and not Raul calling from the Philippines trying to sell me siding while the caller ID gives a number in Kansas.  

Non-stop calls, but I have not picked them up.

I called back and it was Hastings a Movie Rental Place.

Steve, I returned all my rentals too.  The store lost 2 of them and has been trying to make me pay to replace them plus late fees.  I reported Hastings to my state Attorney General's office.

Robo-call from this number today (6/1/10) with static when the caller identified the business and talking about arrears in my account.  I couldn't hit the disconnect button fast enough!  Hastings, eh?  I do rent from them and everything has been returned.  I'll check at the store tomorrow.  May be part of the overall collapse of record keeping in nearly every business.  Sending back office overseas costs far more in customer goodwill than it saves  in costs and those who are left in offices here are overworked and have attitudes verging on sabotage.  We're doomed!

Got several robo-calls from them on behalf of Hastings Entertainment (whom I have never rented from). Called them back to no avail. I DID find the phone number for the president of Xact, Teri Shepherd. Left her an impolite voice mail message and will keep calling her until they rectify their error. Her office number is 952-890-2636.

My machine picked up and it was Hastings Entertainment letting us know we had a game out past rental time.  Every other time we've gotten an automated call from them it's had their name, but this time it was "unknown".

We don't even live in their area and got calls on our cell phone about rentals being late.

Didn't answer, sorry, but my guess is that it's a scam. Have went throughh that before, so didn't bother. Anyone else get a call from that #?
