she is calling my cell phone and relatives claiming i owe a debt.  she is very rude and persistant.

This woman leaves messages 'AS IF' she is setting up pre-litagation. She threatens to call immediately if I want any imput or to be a part of legal respresentation. She is going WAY OUT  bounds, and she was this way with her FIRST call!

WOW - is an idiot - why don't you give her a call and discuss your situation with her.  I am sure she would be willing to listen to you since y'all seem to have the same mind set.

Amanda called me too.  I returned her call and spoke with Will Morgan.  He was kind but insistent.  I became disabled and had insurance to cover my credit card bill but the insurance company won't pay.  Will said he couldn't do anything for me except take a 70% discount on what I owed.  I'm disabled and have no income but my disability.  I don't have extra money for that.  That's why I paid insurance.  He said all he could do was transfer my info to suit.  HSBC won't listen to me about it either. They just pass it from credit collector to credit collector and I tell them all the same thing.  Not sure what to do....  Due to severe heart issues, I'm supposed to keep my stress level down.  This nonsense doesn't help.

This Amanda called my mother. She said that she was returning my call. I have never called her before. She wants me to call her back. Right. What is the name of this company? Does anyone know who they are?

This woman AMANDA GAZOS was extremely rude and told me if I did not pay the debt that a lien would be put on my home...she also called at least one of my family members that I know of.

She kept hanging up on me when I asked who she was, with what company, who was her supervisor, address of company, etc.

I put in a complaint with the FTC.

The most recent call from this number is Anthony Camano (phonetic). The call came to my home phone and the caller claims I was listed as a reference for a family member (that knows only my cell phone number).  The best way to deal with these people (who fail to respond to polite requests) is to ask for the address where you can send the money, then send a certified letter to that address directing them to never contact you by telephone again and demand that all communications be made in writing to your address.

Yeah, these people are ignoring the law when it comes to contacting relatives. They have confirmed during two conversations that they have the debtor's correct phone number yet continue to call about this relative who does not live in my home nor am I responsible for his debts.

I agree. You can't assume that those of us being harassed are not paying our bills. I am being harassed on my private cell phone for a debt owed by a relative that does not live with me. They have verified they have the current info but still call me daily. I'm SICK of it.

Ok Bill Ecktor, I presume you are one of the said "collectors"  to have such skill in defending these people, whom, like me WE DON"T KNOW" you shold be in a different line of work? Or does the Klan still pay so well? Where's the empathy for those of us who pay or bills and still get these calls?  No response...you're one of them, no doubt!  I have paid all my bills and get these calls all the time....Lighten Up!!! Jesh....

Hey idiot - how about getting your head out of your butt - did u see how these mortgage companies and bankers scammed everyone and got bailed out - the average guy should have gotten the bail out - not these multi million dollar entities.

Amanda Gazos has called my home several times making threats of taking my house if I do not pay her what she is owed. She will not tell me who she works for, a mailing address, the name of anyone else that I can talk to there, etc. She is very rude and won't let you talk so you have no choice but to talk over her. She refuses payment arrangements, saying the entire balance must be paid right now.

I've also received calls from this number, Amanda is her name.  She's looking for someone I do not know.  Extremely rude and so was her supervisor, Jeff.  I they would continue to call if they chose to do so...  I'm in the process of filing complaints with the Federal Trade Comission, I suggest you do the same.

Stated they were from credit control in clearwater fla. Also experienced rudeness from them however.

The woman asked for someone with the same last name as mine, but who does not live here. When I asked her not to call me any more she said I was rude and hung up.
