Repeated calls, either hangs up, or says to please return my call, but no details given. When I call that number, I get a fast busy.

I have received several calls from this company both on my home phone and cell phone..wanting to collect money from Judd. I always hang up. Who are these people posing as a law firm?

I never answered numbers i don't know. But this number called first my office number and then my cellphone. It did not leave any message. I don't think this is from Discover Card Services. I don't have any payment due this month.

repeated calls over the past few days, early enough to wake me the last two days. automated voice recording left once with message similar to chris above leaving return phone and reference number. this morning (when the phone woke me) I answered it. the woman's voice asked for identification - they were apparently attempting to reach someone with the same first and last name, different middle name. when I suggested she had the wrong person - and wrong number - she hung up with no additional explanation. i went back to bed. -ml

Thanksgiving day. 2 calls, almost everyday, including this holiday.

Caller identified himself as Patrick Henry said he needed a call from me, left and ID # and ext. to call his secretary immediately, have no clue why he is call me, if he is a bill collector I do not owe any bills, do not feel like wasting my time to even call and say please do not call, why do they call and harass people without correct information, think it is time they get a new career.

Also got a charge of $9.85 on my credit card with the vendor identified as MERA 877-431-2833 TX.  The bank said it was a toy/hobby retail store.  The bank reversed the charges.  I called the 877# and got some recorded message which sent me to voicemail which was full.  Where can I report this fraudulent activity?

I got a charge on my VISA card for 6,89 euro from a company named MERA 8774312833.I live in Italy and I've never heard of him.I stopped my Credit card and the payment.Obviously it is a scam.

I got a charge on my local phone bill from 8774312833 from a company named MERA.  When I called back, they said no one was available and sent me to their mailbox.  The next message said the mailbox was full.  Valor took it off of my bill.  Obviously it is a scam.

I also noticed a charge on my business credit card that showed MERA 877-431-2833 TX.  When I called the number, it went straight to voicemail saying noone is available to take my call and then it stated that the mailbox is full.  Very strange.  When I called my bank, they stated that the charge was from a Toy/Hobby Game Store.  I am in accounting, not very likely that I would buy games..... I requested my card to be cancelled and the charge is being listed as fraud for further investigation.  I read the comments above and I find it very bizarre that everyone is receiving calls from this same number and is being told many different things.  FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD. This phone number calls at all hours even though I am on the no call list. I do NOT owe anyone anything according to my credit reports and really am sick of these people. They are probably looking for my ex-son-in-law who was a deadbeat - but I cannot contact them to tell them I do not know where he may be located. Wish they would stop.

I'm like David above.  I got a charge (under $10) on my credit card  bill listed as MERA 877-431-2833.  I called my cc company and they couldn't give me any details on the charge so I disputed it and got it taken off my bill.  I also bought insurance on any future large dollar disputes for my peace of mind.  I also called that 877 # and got an answering service. I think its a fraud, too.

This number has called me over a month constantly and will not answer me when i answer. I work from home and this is extremely annoying as I get faxes on this line and it interupts my business. The phone company told me to dial *57 everything I get the call and it will log it. I am also registerd in DND. They said to file a police report to dial - - - Glad to see im not the only one ! I found a charge on my bank account. It just said CHECK CARD PURCHASE MERA 877-431-2833 TX in the transaction. Even the bank couldn't trace it without having to do a full investigation and cancel my card. I called the number and all I got was the electronic answering machine just like my phone. It picks up after one ring. I think it's fraud

Actually, you are the stupid one since you don't know that these lowlife collectors call people who have no debt in random fishing attempts. Telling them they have the wrong number rarely does any good since they are bottom-feeding scum and too stupid or lazy to check their facts or take a number out of their auto-dialer.

They are TDM and say they are a collection agency. When we asked what we owe on, they said a credit card which we do not have. They call all day trying to get info on us. We need help!

They are calling me at work and in the past did not leave a msg today they left a msg saying they have an important issue to discuss. I don't have a clue to who this is no name was given.

Gillette & Paul - these collectors call my parents house and leave messages saying it's very important that they return their calls. They've never received anything from them by mail.

They have called 28 times in the past 2 days. They do not answer when I answer nor do they leave voice mail. I finally called and was told they would take me off of the list since I do not have a Capital One account.

Yes it is Arrow Financial in Illinois. In my case they had a legitimate reason to call, and therefore I can't report them as a nuisance.

We do not owe anything--this number harrasses me at our business sometimes every hour on the hour. I'm sick of it. I ask what it's in regards to and they just say they want to talk to my husband. They are RUDE and they could leave a message with me but they won't. The have the nerve to ask me for my husband's cell number--that's crazy if they think I would give that out. I am going to turn them over to the authorities. My husband is never in the office so they will never reach him.

This company keep calling me for almost 3weeks and today they leave message (Spanish first and English)on my cell. I called this number and no one answer the phone and keep ringing or it says leave message and phone number. I did leave message and nobody called me back.

Have had two calls from this number. Just got a new phone/# and it is obviously for someone who had the # before. I tried to call this # back and the 'agents' are always busy.

Called, no reply when I said hello. very strange. Called on mycell phone though. Does anyone live in the NY area or have a (917) cell area code receive calls from these idiots? Just curious
