These dwebs are from the (name your state) Sheriff's Assocation/State Police/County Police Benefits, etc.  There are actually a magazine sales department that uses these organizations to peddle junl publications.  Total rip-off.  Blow your whistle in their ear.  I blocked them

call for peace officers, wanting donations

Caller claimed to be from the South Dakota Highway Patrol Association seeking donations for the associations life insurance payout fund.  I said no thanks and he hung up on me.

Claims to be a fundraiser for the state police.  I hung up and added them to my blocked list.

been calling my number everyday about the same time, usually hang up, but today asked for my wife by name, however, he misspronounced it a bit, then hung up when I said no, I am not her.

Received calls in the evening but do not answer.  No message left.

keeps calling me but doesn't say anything.

didnt leave a message, tried to call it back and got a message, the # you have dialed is no longer in service.

We have been receiving this phone call up to 6X a day but they will not leave a message on the answering machine and they will not answer if we do answer the phone

got a cal and they left no message,so?they are blocked until they come forward,if they are some kind humans that is i suppose it belongs to people that don't speak American

Just received a call from this number and missed the call but the caller sounds as if it could be my brother who is a guest of the state of AK prison system. Does anyone know if the prisons have numbers that are 800 numbers such as 877-xxx-xxxx ? I hope they call again so I can answer and see what they want.

Just erased 7 missed calls from this number!  I've tried answering and it hangs up.  Last night they called and asked for my husband.  When I said he was not home they hung up.  Getting very sick of it!!!  And we are on the do not call list.

This number 877-431-6983 calls every Sunday and I've tried to call the number back with no success. My number is on the Do Not Call list. I'm going to register the number as blocked call and hopefully this will make the calls stop.

They call asking for people by their first name when you ask what they want they mumble stuff then hang up.  There is a busy signal when you call back.
