SCAM dont believe a word they say

I copied this from my google voice transcript so the spelling is from google's transcription....has left several harassing numbers for me and does not identify what this is about!!

"It's like yourself available to be able to forms of ID. If that works, hey supervisor head of security. We'll need to be available to sign up as a witness. Please be advised, failure to sign for the summons can result in a miss court appearance. If you have any questions contact the party that is trying to get you at (877) 433-0266"

I received a voice mail stating I would be receiving a summons in the next 24-48 hours (same as others above) and they left a phone number.  I called them and they had a ridiculous amount of $1389 that I owed on a debt fro 1998 that was "charged off."  They said they were ready to reduce that amount for a one-time full payment of $613 and before the call ended they had it down to $350 if I paid within 2 days.  They even gave me a Federal Case #.  Said it was from a debt owed to HSBC (Household Bank Finance- Orchard) and that there was a civil judgment against me.  I didn't pay them a cent!  Though they had me going for a bit, as I thought maybe I did forget about a debt during that time when I was unemployed. But they were wrong. I keep impeccable records.  I filed a complaint at the link someone else provided above. Oct. 28...same thing happened to me Rich Bloomingdale called me on my job and said that my HSBC account from 1999 was charged off and then reopened in 2007...I never had an account with the information he gave me and said that they were going to come after me.  I kept calling back to get more information and they claim they sent a VOD letter.  They are a scam stay away.

Called and left automatated msg I called back said they would make sure I wasn't contacted again.

Same thing here.  He left a message last Monday again then again this afternoon.  Said his name was Aaron something from Caring Legal Systems.  Also said the same thing as everyone else has mentioned.  He never mentioned my name or address, so I figured they wanted me to call back so they could get my name and other info.

I got the same call today. I block his phone and also I blocked the phone number
They asked me to call back or they said they will get into my house. How convenient ! Can you imagine a summon advising people that they are coming and to be prepared. This is so ridiculous!
Well if he has the summon why he needs me to call him back ?

I just received the same message about them coming to my place of employment.  They did not say who it was for just they would come to place of employment or my house in 24 to 48 hours.  Someone has got to stop them.  i did not even try to call them back.  I am going to report them and I hope someone shuts them down.  My message also said that he was just a server and if I had questions to call the company filing the claim.   GRRRR

They kept calling back to back, but I was on another call, so I called back, and once I started asking REAL  QUESTIONS, OF COURSE THEY KEPT HANGING UP, AND I KEPT CALLING BACK AND A WOMAN ANSWERED AND I WENT OFF, I TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO CALL THEM FOR HARASSMENT, AND GUESS WHAT?HER A** HUNG UP TOO. SO PLEASE TELL ME WHO IN THE HELL THESE PEOPLE REALLY ARE.

I recieved a call from 877-433-0266 and was told I wasgping to recieve a sumons in 24-48 hours and that failure to sign the summons wpuld result in a notice of failure to appear in court.

I just received the same call as described above, since I didn't answer, they left me a vm. At first I was stressing out about it. But after reading all of your comments... It helped calm me down. And now that I'm not overly stressed about it, it just dawned on me. Summons, to my knowledge, are not delivered over the weekend. Yet, to meet his alleged 24-48 hour deadline, that'd put it on Sat/Sun. Glad I looked up the phone number first.

They just called me now making the same threats. They just messed with the wrong person it so happens that one of my brothers is a FBI agent.. those people want to play? Haha I will play back and they will get hit real good with a REAL arrest coming their way... not taking it anymore sick of these pieces of maggot crap who refer to themselves as human beings...

My GF got a call 09-11 on her cell. The message was very similar to what is described above. What is a bit scary is that this is a new cell for her (one month) and few others know the number. Yet the message had her correct name. I called the number given and after a few questions was told that it was a "wrong number" and not to worry.

I received the same call today. I was not home they left a message. Said they were coming to my job or home to serve a summons. Sounds like the same one you received

I received a call from this number and the guy had all my information on a debt that was supposedly from my husband.  When I told him that he needed to call him the guy on the other end told me F&^%$ You and hung up.  Everyone needs to report them at this address https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-3

It is scary as I don't know whom they are representing and what are they trying to collect from me. I know it is a scam-how can we stop this. Called my house and my work.

Both my 83 y/o mother and I have been receiving phone calls requesting to call them back so they can serve a summons. They leave no company name, nor do they state who they actually want to speak to. If they want to serve papers, then it's their job to find us - not ours to tell us where we are. As far as I know, we don't have any debts that are past due. If it was legit, you would think they would have the correct information as to where we live since neither of us has changed our addresses in years.

Something needs to be done about this scum on the bottom of my shoes. They never stop!! Its crazy.

I just got the same thing that they have a summons and are going to serve me for a civil suit.They stated thwy were in Chicago. I called the board and they have no attorneys with that name

just received the same phone call the only really surprising thing about this is that the man spoke English and with authority.  I suppose to put a scare in you but I've learned to look up the number before I even think about calling to see how legit it is...and as I thought, yet another scam.  These people must get paid a percentage of what they collect...sad, sad, sad!!!

And do yourself a favor, Check on your credit and with the real so called whoever it is they say you owe first.  You are entitled to a free credit report yearly: Servers do not call in advance, if they have a real case it should have been mailed to you, not phone, not email, not fax.

Received the same info about a summons being served on me if I don't get a hold of them within 48hrs.  I don't understand why I haven't had any documents sent to my home about this matter.  If they have my phone and work numbers they obv have my address.

Has anyone else dealt with them beyond the initial call or have had papers served?

They keep calling threatened arrest or legal action against even told me they were coming to my job. They knew my job name and address.

I received a call from this number stating they would appear at my home within 24-48 hours to issue a summons and request I return the call. I did not call back as I figured it was a scam - they did not state my address or the name of their company it was just a man who went by his first name (that I can't recall). About a month ago I received a similar call out of South or North Carolina (I'm in Iowa) saying I owed on an old payday loan (which I know is untrue)... so apparently my number has ended up on some sort of list for these types of scams.
