I googled "prepaidlegal.com scam," found allegations of accounting problems within Prepaid Legal (a few years old but still troubling since it indicates problematic management) but also found this opinion on affiliate-selling of prepaid legal plans http://www.essortment.com/lifestyle/commonfraudpre_skkg.htm  I hope you did not have to pay a fee to sign up as an affiliate, if you are indeed now an affiliate.

@ all and especially Chris: I used this 800notes page to denounce the scammers on this other phone number  http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-461-2503/ and (many!) fake positive scammer posts were deleted by 800notes but the scam's still ongoing (sigh). I see Chris is actively replying to posts so if you're determined to chase the scammers, a long shot would be to try to find the Responsible Organization that assigned 877-437-0343. There's a partial list of RespOrgs on http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/resporg/ about 1/4 of the page down; at the end of the list is a link to a longer list. I suggest contacting the guy who put up that list (his phone+email at the bottom of that page and he seems like a decent chap given what he's written), direct his attention to this 800notes page and see if he can help or tell you how to go about finding the RespOrg short of brute-force-calling up every one of those RespOrgs on that list. This is the best I can come up with. Chris - I'm sorry you lost your car. Bon chance mes ami!

The last time I talked to them was last month and when I tried to call back the phone was disconnected! I talked to a peter douglas and they asked me to send some money to canada.  I have the mtcn number and all.  I had to send a total of 806.00 to sandra turck was the recevier.  I have forwarded the paper work to my attorney!

well melissa, how did u send them the money? Common people i'm trying to catch these people. I'm trying anything i can. But i need everyone that got scammed by them to help.

chris if your money was sent by western union money transfer we talking cash not debit or credit card then you won't be able to get your money back because it wasn't a debit or credit card transaction once money

chris if this money was debit from your account go to your file a claim your bank will tell you that you will have to give the merchant full 30 days before they can process a claim against this company once this
bank can prove this company is a scam your bank will give you what is call a provisional credit another
suggestion file a complaint against this company with your state attorney chris i lost a little money

they burned me for $975 they told me later that they needed more money from i then decided to cancel they told me they would refund me my money the 10TH of november the money has not been deposit yet i been trying to call them and they do not answered they big time scamers do not accept call from them what can i do to get my money back?
