Irate,
Were you able to receive your $790 from them?  They took $1000 from me and did absolutely no work on my behalf.  The company is now shut down and I've been trying to contact the managing partner.  I'm going to pursue a lawsuit against him to get my money back.  Any thoughts?

This company is a scam and they refuse to call back.  The manager I talked to was Crystal who agree to credit my card $200 but said it would take two months.  After four months I have never received the credit and when I leave a message and I never hear back.

A girl named Cheryl made appointments.

These people are all crooks and need to shut down and jailed.  Everyone needs to get united to see that these people are put out of business.  If anyone has info on who to report these people to please let me know.

I too was scammed by Continental Financial Solutions. I even checked with the Better Business Bureau and my credit card before enrolling. They charged $995 to my card, which I've been trying to get back. Because I waited too long, I can't dispute the charge with my credit card company. I reached someone in  CFS's customer service who said that they'll review my case and call me back within 24 hours. No one ever did. Since then, I've left several messaged at 1-866-456-8447 (the supposed billing department), which no one has called back about. I've also called 1-877-446-5101, which says I'm being transferred to a representative, but the just keeps ringing.

The reason it took me so long to discover that it's a scam is because people actually did contact me after enrolling and tried to get my interest rates lowered. I'd be on the phone with them while they'd negotiate with my credit card. However, none of their negotiations ever yielded any results. My interest rate was always as low as it could go. I think that's their way of stalling the dispute process. DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!

The last messages I've left have informed them that if I don't get a reply, I'll be contacting my attorney and taking legal action. So now we'll see if I get any response. If anyone has any tips on how to get this resolved or who to contact about shutting this company down, please email me at trevoc.leahcim@gmail.com.

Ok, Jeff S.....if they helped you, then provide us ALL with HOW they did this? Specifics.

3 scenarios:
1. You work for them
2. You are related to someone who DOES work for them
3. Your best friend is the owner or you have friends that work for them.

My wife and I have been attempting to receive $790.00 back for over 60 days. I just, today, got a hold of them. Christine, is who answered the phone and said she would give our info to her supervisor. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she stated, "that's not possible". After arguing with her for about 5 minutes, I asked her the supervisors name. She stated Steve. She also stated that he would call us within 24 hours. (Yea, right. I'm not holding my breath.) I am in Michigan. I filed a complaint with the Department of Agriculture where they received there license to operate a telemarketing company. I also have emailed Governor Christ of Florida, spoke with the Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the City of Casselberry's Commissioner, and I am currently working on getting a hold of Florida's Attorney General. This company is scamming down and out folks. They should be shut down and have charges against them. Anyone who is posting something on here that states this company has helped them, is also fraudulent. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The company is Continental Financial Solutions, LLC.
The managing partner is Kevin Zinn.

Very true. They called my mother in the evening and did a tag-team hard sell until they eventually convinced her to provide her credit card number.

The company name is "Continental Financial Services LLC" (at least this week) and 877-446-5101 is their actual phone number. A clue to the here-today-gone-tomorrow nature of the company is that their customer service email is a Yahoo account.

Mike answered the phone there and tells us he can't reverse the charge for their "services" and of course his manager is not around. Just like a car salesman.

They might possibly provide useful services that are worth paying for, but I would never deal with a slimy company that tricks you into giving them your credit card number.

WE just made the same mistake.  I guess if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.  But they fooled us for a while because they were so willing to give us Visa customer service numbers so we could verify, and their number as well.  It is hard to resist when they say they can lower your interest rate from 20% to 6%. We had to clock the 2 card numbers we gave them.

3-17-09 a call from "Steve Johnson" that I was eligible for reduced interest rates thru their company "Continental Financal Solutions". My name and number was given to them by credit bureaus.(Red flag: isn't that illegal?) I asked a few questions - how did they get paid -he said by the interest they save me - hmmm? He had to search to give me their 800# - said he was on his first day. I unfortunately did give them one cc# and the interest rate but when he checked. it didn't "qualify" -limit full - good thing. He can't add anymore altho I'm going to call the cc company and let them know about it. Pretty much like everyone's comments - same pitch and info wanted. I don't know if they are legit but am avoiding them anyway.

Read your posts.
They did what they said they would do. I got my card lowered from 26% down to 12.45%. Saving me $300 a month in interest.

Talked to a "john buffit" who gave me this number -- 877-446-5101 -- after I refused to give him my credit card number. Said the company was named "Financial Solutions" in Orlando, FL and is "affiliated" with Experion. Promised to lower credit card rate without any expenditure on my part. Gave me the speech about my being at no risk giving out the credit card number because anyone else who wanted to use the card would have to have their signature verified. . right. . .

that place is such a rip off.. i worked there.. so i deff know what went on.. they treat their customers like crap and the customer always had to call back to get a refund or anything for any manager to get off their butt.. it is such a shady company.. they changed their name like 20 times.. one time we almost got raided.. the business they were in before with someone else got rated... so if you get any calls from this number be careful and deff hang up... whatever they can do you can do for yourself.. you just need to ask the right questions.. you are paying $700 for something that can be done..RIP OFF.. watch out for joshua jones and dan z... yes they are very convincing but there is no need for it..they try to seem like a real company but its such a scam and we would never be paid on time we always had to wait a few days... or they didnt have the money right away.. just becareful... and dont accept the calls...

Also forgot to add the name of the guy I talked to was Joshua Jones.  Doesn't that seem a little strange that Joshua is defending the site.  Google "continental financial solutions"  and read some of the sites that have info that people posted about this fraudulant website.
It is amazing how many people this "Joshua Jones" spoke to!!!

If they already had all of your info why would they need to know your 16 dig c.c number?  The only info they know is your name and phone number.  If they already knew your account number they would only need to know the last 4 dig to confirm it is yours!!  If you want to lower your debt or apr contact the company yourself to be safe!!

I called my credit card company and they assured me this is a fraud.  My advice is that you call and freeze your account or at least call and see if this is fraud or not!  Who is to say that "Joshua" isn't a part of this?  You just can't be too sure.  I would trust my credit card company more than I would someone giving assurance online.  They would be the one to work with if something did happen.  What is someone you don't know online going to do?
Good Luck!!

BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!  BEWARE!
Got a call from "Card Services" wanting to work with my credit card company to reduce my credit card APR.  He asked what the current APR and wanted to know if we had a balance, but wanted to make sure that we weren't over or too close to our credit limit.  This threw up a red flag.  He wanted the 800 number off the back of the card and the 16 digit account number.  I asked him who he was affiliated with and he then told me continental financial solutions.  I told him that before I gave him any info I was going to check into this online.  He then began rambling 100 words a minute about how under law I was covered against identity theft and how he wouldn't want my identity due to the fact I was in debt already.  I found this web-site and hung-up.  I then called my credit card company and they said indeed this was a identity theft attempt!  They do not work with other people that call your house to lower you credit card APR or debt!  If you get these calls-hang up!!  With this economy we will probally see a lot more of this!
