REcieved same message have no clue why

GOT THE SAME MESSAGE IN OHIO....GLAD I GOT ONLINE, ITS A SCAM I DID NOT REPLY, GOT SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THIS BEFORE, WHEN I CALLED AN AUTOMATED RECORDED VOICE ASK FOR MY BANK CARD NUMBER. GO FIGURE! i WONDER HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER SINCE I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST? I ALSO WONDER IF IT COULD BE SOMEONE WORKING IN THE UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE.  MIGHT JUST REPLY NEXT TIME AND SAY PHU_K YOU!

You are an idiot.  I work for a card company and yes, if you don't type in your information in our automated phone system, we ask you for the full 16 digits of the card number.  When you know more about how credit card companies work, maybe then you should reply.

Mine was from 3779 and others cause I got several texts, but only viewed one and deleted the rest before even viewing.  Got the same exact as info Brandon from MI.  I was on unemployment, so wondering if that is how they got the number??????

I got the same call and I was about to call it back when I realized this is some b***s***  its a damn scam. I immediatley got online and looked it up and after reading all the bad reviews on the text message I was exactly right from jump. So don't respond to the message its a scam to hack into your bank card numbers and take all your money and charge you for some odd membership that you don't know nothing about.

Same number, same email, same text.
My young, worried self called immediately, but after punching in my PIN, I got suspicious and cancelled the card right away.

Hope it worked. I have bills, man.
Gah, it was fishy throughout. I was a sucker for the functioning automated voice, yo.

Anyone know if they immediately eff your life, or is a 10 minute cancellation solid time to save face?

I just got this same message. I wasn't going to call it, but was still curious so I decided to look it up. Thank you for posting this. Everything you received is an exact match to what I received.

I knew it was odd enough that I got a text. If a real, valid bank/company needed information, they would call you and not text you. Remember that, folks.

I just got the same text......I knew this was a scam!   So I text'd the guy back.  "I'm glad my CO-OP card is Frozen.....the wife is out shopping right now.  Thanks! Hopefully for your sake though, it's frozen with a tapered end on it, so that when I shove it up ur A**, it doesn't hurt as bad. Find something better to do with ur spare time Moron!"
2 texts came back......saying that account was locked out....Go Figure!!
 Head's up.....there are people out there that want your money more than You do !!!  And it's not always the Gov't either!!!!

Be careful, especially if you're on unemployment - Michigan UI uses debit cards - someone can easily mistake this as a message from Unemployment Benefits!

Called this number using a different phone (just in case) and I was put on with a machine - No company information was given, just that I'd reached "Card Services", and proceeded to ask for my card number and info. Of course I didn't give it.

It's not a bank, it's a scam. No bank will EVER ask you for your card number - they pull up your name and THEY HAVE IT IN THEIR COMPUTERS. NEVER GIVE YOUR CARD INFORMATION TO ANYONE EVER!!
