WARNING : I called the company NRI's Andy claimed he was collecting for. They have NEVER heard of them!!!!! This guy was completely rude and  threatened me. I called up their main offices, and got two numbers from them. One which is not answered and the second was a Medicaid Plan (which the Texas Attorney General has posted problems with Medicaid Plan Fraud). I then called up SallieMae to verify which company I was supposed to be paying since I'm paying TG for the SAME loan, and they verified that TG is who I need to be paying and they have never heard of NRI.
Three signs that any creditor is fake 1. The number to call them back is a direct line ( they have way to many intake calls to have  one number per idividual if they are legit) 2. They don't ask you to verify anything but the last 4 digits of your social not if your phone number and address are correct and 3 Refuse to send you anything in the mail regardless of claiming they already have.

DO NOT let these people bully you! Verify that the original loan went to a creditor, and which one. Make them send you something RECENT in the mail, and research the company as much as possible. Websites online dont nessisarily mean they are real. NRI's looks real but can be easily faked!!! This is the second time we've had a fraudulent credit company call and threaten us over loans. BE SMART Pllease! Don't let these jerks scam you out of your money!!!!

Andy called the American Red Cross, where I am a Volunteer, and told them it was Urgent that he reach me!!!  Sheesh!
