Karen, stop kissing up.  Before you start ranting on people, maybe you should stop and listen to their story.  Maybe it isn't that they didn't pay.  maybe there is a mistake... and maybe YOU didn't pay your bill, but that doesn't mean that others haven't.  There are facts that you may not be aware of that may be contributing.  Wow..... This Keith Hill called my house and claimed he was with the bank fraud auto theft devision. No company name and was asking questions about someone else that I know. I asked him several times the name of his company and he wouldnt give it to me. He also said he would give me his cell number but gave me an 866 number saying it goes directly to his cell phone. He is a repo person working at a tow company. He has misidentified himself and is claiming to be with a law inforcement agency.
this can and will get him into trouble.

So today i got a phone call from some clown named keith hill, complete clown. the guy was disrespectful from that start, callin me random names and acting liek a complete fool, when ia sked him if he had a supervisor he said no, when i asked him who he is calling on behalf he didnt answer just wanted to know where a car is that i am a month late in returning as a lease... he thought he knew everything about me but clearly had no idea what he was talking about.. this is all a scam or repo people calling which made no sence cause the car he was talking about is in jersey yet he thinks i have possession of it... sucks for them because its in a garage .. he was very pushy and threatning calling me "gay,stupid" i recorded all conversations on the phone along with the voicemail and dialed my local police preinct where my uncle is a Liutenant at and filed a police report for harrassment and invasion of privacy. the PD said they will investigate as if it were their own because although they have a right to call they MUST identify themselves and answer any and all questions before you answer any of theirs... maybe i wouldnt have a problem being straight foward with the guy if he wasnt such a disrespectful prick but since we went down that road he can kiss my a**..... i hope the cops find out who this is because last conversation i had with him he threatened to come to "my house" supposibly and talk to me there... hahaha little do they know i live in New Jersey Not where he thinks but its the principle that he threatened me in the first place...

Stop kissing up. These finance companies are a bunch of crooks. As for not being able to afford it. If you get behind in one payment (by their fault) they send these ex-cons to steal your car.

Got a call from investigator Keith Hill.  Wanted to talk to someone I know.

Number is 866-766-0790 - case # 12015 - showed up on caller id as 222-222-2222

Called back and he was a real jerk.  Told me he knew where I lived and not to piss him off.

Not sure what they're angle is, but it is obviously some kind of attempt to get personal info - for what I'm not sure - he wouldn't say.

I received a call from this josy ocean person. she is not a debt collector. she is looking for "mortgaged collateral" aka VEHICLES. This is what happens when you don't pay your car note, and if y'all ignore calls like this you will be faced with a lawsuit. She clearly stated to me - cause I wanted to call her out on the police officer thing - and she told me that she is a privately hired investigator hired by financial institutions and the like to find people that refuse to act responsible and DONT turn over cars and boats and motorcycles, etc THAT DONT BELONG TO THEM>>>  what the f*** people. Take care of your responsibilities, return whats not yours when called to do so, especially when you cant afford it anymore....  jeeeeeeeeez.

I called 1-877-210-0595 and a woman said that they had been looking for me about some class action lawsuit that I didnt even know I was part of (baby car seat defect) but had not been able to. 2 weeks later I had a check!

I just got a call from the same people.  The woman leaving the message identified herself as Josie Ocean from the "unit for special investigations, fraud and concealment division."  My wife said the persons sounded as if they were from some official law enforcement unit, but they did not identify the police department or federal or state agency that they were supposedly with, so I presume that this is either a debt collector, private investigator or some scam to get personal information.  I have seen other posting on the internet referring to this same group at the same telephone number.  On one occasion, the "special investigator" alleged that a neighbor had stolen a car, and on another occasion, the caller asked for information about a relative, again alleging that the relative had stolen a car.  I don't know what the scam is here, but I would recommend not giving any information to these people.

I got a call from a different number 8669404817 and was the same thing. unit for special investigations, fraud, and concealment. this was a man that left a message.

I just received a  phone call asking for my brother from someone claiming to be an investigator from this number 1-877-210-0595 when i called it back it said it was "unit for special investigations, fraud and concealment division."

My husband just received the same message is this a legitimate company?

877-210-0595 x4462 is "Investigator Webb"  It appears that the caller is a Skip Tracer for BMW.  Good Luck!!!

I received a call from 1800-680-7764 claiming that they are from the "unit for special investigation fraud and concealment section" but fail to identify whether they are with Federal State....They ask you to punch in your extension and then say your name so it can be announced in order for the right person to come on line.   Never really talked to anyone there but seems like it is another scam someone trying to get information.  Just wanted everyone to be aware of this number as well.

My wife received a similar call (in Kentucky) from 800-459-3815 Ext 09484 claiming to be a Jack Blades, special investigator for the Unit for Special Investigations - Fraud and Concealment section.

So watch out for this number also.

The phone number as been updated to 888-303-2726,and "her" gender has changed to male.

If you own a Jeep Liberty, you may be reading these messages.  PAY PEOPLE WHAT YOU OWE THEM!!  Quit avoiding the law.  Josie will track you down.  Quit hiding.

This is not a scam.  Josie Ocean does not work for a collection agency!  She was trying to track down my recluse sister who has not paid on her Ford Explorer in over two years.  They have been trying to repo it forever & can not track her down.  She has been MIA from our family for some time, so none of us could help Josie.  If you actually call her and talk to her, she is all business, but very friendly.  She is just tying to do her job.  Track down losers that do not pay their bills like the rest of us law abiding citizens.  Quit dogging Josie.

from "gotcha" - they all seem to defend Ol' Josie's methods.

I wonder if Josie is following her press releases...????

Said that if I didn't, they would send someone to my home- told her that she shouldn't send anyone she liked- she then said they would send someone to my town hall- I said that if she did I would put her in long pants and tell her about boys - she still didn't get it. I terminated the call.
