WTF is this Lynette Carter called threatening me saying she left plenty of messages which I never received and I don't even know what this issue is all about

the so called threat i recieved from carter is bogus,i have it on my v.m ... legally that is  not allowed to demand payment, i have no idea what allstate is or claims to be, i have never been contacted until 4 /12/13 about this unknown issue that she is threatning me with, she has the wrong person,nothing in my records pertain to this... SCAM!! i filed a claim against her,hope she enjoys!

Yes been getting calls from a Ms. Williams at ext 351, now someone from ext 343 and another ext has been calling my cell number, the calls comes up private with no number showing, said that if i do not respond in 48 hour they are going to file court papers, this has been going on for about 3 weeks not, wanted me to go get a prepaid master or visa and make a payment, I told them to fax me some paper work still waiting on it, don't fall for it they are fake.

Oh this is a good one.  Got a call today from Lynette Carter who asked for one of our employees by name.  This employee cannot be reached by phone because he works out in the field and he also has a history of getting collections calls on our switchboard.  The woman said she was with Allstate and was calling in reference to a claim this employee supposedly made this morning.  She left her name, this telephone # and a "claim #".  After the call, I googled the phone # and read the info on this web site.  I called the # back and just pressed "0" instead of Ms. Carter's extension #.  The woman answered "Allstate" but when I asked if they were the insurance company she said "no".  I then called Ms. Carter's line and blasted her for lying to me and told her that she is never to call this # again for that employee or for anyone else.  After I hung up, she continued to call and the one time I answered she demanded to speak to HR.  Yeah right.  I told her she can't get to ANYONE in this company without going through me and I hung up.  She continued to call and call and call and I simply disconnected her calls each time.  She has finally stopped - for now.  She can - and won't - win!  LOL

I keep being harrassed by a woman called Mrs.Williams,her extension is:351.She had the nerves to call my friends phone and left threating words towards me.I think something should done with AllState.

Been receiving calls from a 'restricted" number.  State they are Allstate Processing.  Spoke with a Ms. Smith and a Crystal Hicks.  Folks have been calling my family and employer too.  Advised them to cease and desist calling anyone but me.  Company also refuses to send a validation of the debt i supposedly owe, and refuses to give any further contact information such as an address.  Not sure I would call this a scam, but they are definitely operating outside of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  DO NOT agree to pay them anything as they are required by law to send a written communication within five days of initial contact notifying you of the alleged debt, and contact information you can use to dispute or demand validation you owe the debt.

They called my son and left a "file number" - I don't know who they are but it's not okay to contact family members.

I just received the same threatening call -- but i have it on voice mail.

stated they are from Allstate calling about a claim.. really they are abusive, deceptive, bill collectors for something.. who knows what?
