This company called me to offer me a job. I have worked in sales for a few years and would NEVER work for a company like this. Basically what they do is pay their reps to advertise online and call people at home to sell them a membership. If they sell it to you they get $75, and the company gets the other $125. THIS IS A SCAM. once they sign you up they dont care about you. they just move on to the next guy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Yes, I took the call, fell for his pitch and signed right up because I fell for it and wanted to buy a place last year. Their site couldn't be found after a month or two. I paid $208.00 from a C.C. got busy packing my stuff and then they were gone when I needed them.

Thank you whoever posted as the ex-employee and the rest of you for sharing your bad experiences. Now, what can we do about it? I think a class-action lawsuit would get us more money back for our losses. This is a win due to the evidence on this site alone. Anyone interested?

All I kniow is that I'm mad and feel violated as Dr. Go pe sits in his mansion in L.A. with our hard earned money!!

Look, I used to work there for 2 weeks and I will shoot all of you straight. i moved to LA and needed a Call Center job. I got hired and within a few days I figured out what they were doing and had a huge moral and ethical indiscretion and had to quit. They are all the same company, owned by a guy named Dr. Gopi. its short for Bhaskarpillai Gopinath. They are located in west LA in a building with heavy security. Employees must go through a screening process to enter the building. Its a total scam. The have changed their name several times in the last few months, zingow.com, homepriceline.com, orangefuture.com. The name of the parent company is Lotus Interworks or Lotus Junction. What they do is a tactic called datamining. They are techie guys. They scrap data from other peoples websites, taking old expired foreclosure listings and re-selling them to unsuspecting consumers. They package this garbage up as a "program" when in fact it is a well written disclosure, designed to rape you of your hard-earned money. If you read their terms and conditions carefully, they have made it impossible to get your money back once your credit card is charged. They have a customer service department that is twice the size of their sales force. They are so shiesty that had to hire an in-house attorney to carefully cover all of their tracks. they have over 1000 800's numbers on craigslist. Noone of those listings are real, and their actually data, if you want to call t that, has no pictures of any of the properties. What you need to do is contact the Attorney General of the state of California, or go visit their office at Lotus Interworks  11833 Mississippi Ave Ste 200 90025. Dont believe what you read about disgruntled employees. Im just an honest guy, who discovered he was working in a dishonest place, and this is the least i can do to help.....

If you want to pay the owner a personal visit, he lives at 20640 MEDLEY LN, TOPANGA CA 90290-3320 in a million dollar house thanks to your hard earned money.

I am flabberghasted!  I was just about to sign up with them.  I felt strange when he wanted to take my credit card info over the phone after a 2 mns conversation.  I thought I'd google them first.  What a shame! what a scandal!
I am just disgusted by these practices.  It seems everyone wants to become rich at someone else's expense.
Bas***rd! and by the way they wanted $250!

People, I promise you that the one thing your bank does not want to hear is that you are closing your credit card.  If you are a customer in good standing and they are dragging their feet on resolving a dispute, tell them you want to close the card.  The account stays alive but nothing can be charged on it until you reactivate.  You'll be surprised how quickly they start to see things your way.

I had a very good experience with my registering with HOMESPRICELINE.I got an apartment very fast. No credit check, no deposit. I think it is a shame that all of you are bashing this company. It sounds like you are maybe previous employees with an ax to grind.Take a chill pill dude.

I call the advertisement in the craigslist about renting a home in Las Vegas, NV. Luckily, I didn't give my credit card information. I did make two phone calls and was surprise it was still the same company with two different 800 numbers. First, the two callers I talked too gave me totally two different information about housing information in vegas. Secondly, two different 800 numbers and that I knew I got to do a little research. Why would any rich company need more than one 800 number, if they claiming to be a rich company. For example, Walmart, Sears, Target has only one 800 numbers, right? Anyway, there new company name is "WWW.HOMESPRICELINE.COM".

What you need to do........... Since this scam crosses state lines, it is not the LA district atty you should call. It is the FBI's internet crime unit. www.IC3.gov. This company has used many names....... such as orange future, zingow, my home selects, homeaccessusa and homespriceline and custom search services.  All belong to Lotus Interworks.

I am looking for a home in Indiana and called the number posted for a house that looked promising.  Right off, the "sales" rep started saying things that sounded too good to be true.  I told him I was interested but wanted to run through a couple of internet review sites first.  Suddenly the line went dead.  Then I verified my suspicion by looking up this and several other sites.  I feel for you that got scammed.  Don't expect to ever get you money back.  Consider the $199.00 the cost of education.  I do hope that those that lost money find a really good lawyer and take these jerks for millions.

I too was looking for a place to move today and was on craigslist and seen their ad. Only it is named Zingow Homes.  The rep told me that this program is goverment funded.  He told me they were registered with the bbb. I checked and yes they were but I call the mayor's line in Boston and they said they knew of no such programs and told me to call back and ask what gov authority were they working with. I did not call the same rep back but spoke with a new one and he gave me a totally different company name NOD research and I asked him if they were goverment funded and he said no that they are a wealthy company and that they were recognized by the Libary of Congress in DC so I called DC and they told me they know nothing about this company. So now I am doing my own research and I have found this website along with many other's proving they are a scam. Thank's to all the people who have shared their story!

Wow I usually use the internet to look up stuff before I buy it but was in desperate need to find a place before my son started school. I went through NODresearch and now can't get through. lol I actuallly called them back only four hours after being charged because they said I had thirty days and the website said 24 hrs. Now I too am out $199. I couldn't even download a cancellation request (not a link on the website). But I spoke with someone who assured me I would get my money back in thirty days...still nothing. The rep even said "I bet you think this is a scam!" Then he hung up on me. I'm in for that lawsuit too if there's a way we can do it.

Well I am sorry for all of you but at the same time relieved that I am not the only one out there that has been SCAMMED by these people. My company that I went through was the NODResearch. I also did what they said and cancelled in the 3 business days. Called said that yes they received it and that I would be getting my money back. Well guess what still haven't received it. Should have gotten by August 8th. Now everytime that I call get the recording and noone every ends up answering after being on hold for 30 minutes goes to a voice mail. I leave a message with my name and number and no one every call me back.

I am more than willing to go into a class action lawsuit. Just let me know. My email is diann_somes@yahoo.com

this is actually my second post today. I am PISSED!!!!!! I have been trying to get ahold of these people for months to get my money back and everytime I call them I will wait on hold for 45 minutes just to have a answering machine come on and tell me that there sorry but no one is available to take my call. I have left several messages and have yet to hear from someone. How did you get your bank to refund your money to you temporarily?

I am actually on hold with orangefuture.com waiting to speak with a representative. I have also called them numerous times but after being on hold waiting to speak with someone, it will get to my number meaning I'm next in line and then it will say that no one is there to take my call. I also decided not to buy a home but rent once again. This is a scam and it's good that someone reported them to the BBB. What did they say about this matter? will they refund your money?
