Receiving obscene messages

This number called today asking for a family member that was allowed to use my phone number for emergency purposes only. That person does not live with me but needed a phone number to use many months ago and I allowed it. Now I am being pestered by unknown callers asking for the person.

Yes, keep getting messages from 1-877-455-7670 asking for someone I do not know. It's a machine that calls repeatedly everyday no one answers so annoying!!!

I have no idea who is calling from this number and I get a call from it several times per week.  I owe no debts and I do not want any more calls from this number.  I do not buy anything over the phone or give out personal information.  Stop the calls!

Received this call for my husband.  Our last name is hard to pronounce for some and they did a good job then added "stry" on the end which was odd.  It was a totally automated message asking him to listen to this message in a private location and to call this # about a debt. We have no debt.

Just received a call from these people looking for someone with a similar name, but different middle initial. Also asked for my last 4 on my SS#. If these people are legitimate debt collectors, then why are they asking for personal info over the phone. Legitimate debt collectors are going to know about phishing and identity theft, and know people are going to be reluctant to give info over the phone.

Medical collection for a local hospital.

They called asking fit the cell phone acct holder, who is somewhere on the other side of the world, said they had some important info for him. They identified themselves as Van Ru, took a while to understand this foreign woman. Asked what country she was calling from because her english was poor, she never would say. I told them the person they were looking for may be back on Thanksgiving, and they have me their phone number, same one as on the caller id. Sure, will give him the msg if I remember it. Fools, either calling from a foreign country or from here and have a budget so small that they have to employ an illegal who doesn't speak fluent english.

Bizarre.  Odder still, that actually expect someone to say, 'sure, here's my ss #, anonynous 877 operation... .'  They actually asked for my entire number (not just the last 4).  WTF?  Well, it would be incredibly sad if this call got through to someone vulnerable, i.e. someone with Dementia, and they gave out that info.  Swine like this... I really don't have the words...

They called yesterday evening and asked for me I said yeah it's me and then I was asked to hold. Well I was placed on hold for 5 mins and then hung up on. So I called back and the guy said they were collecting an emergency room debt from 2009 and today only I could save 75%. Pssh. I told them to send me a bill, after they said they had my address wrong.
Might be a scam because I didn't go to the emergency room in 2009, this is the first time they are calling me, and they had my address wrong.

It's a collection agency, they called my cell asking for someone by name in my household well that someone happens to be my 3 year old granddaughter........bunch of idiots.

This number called me and I said hello over and over again and they never said anything. I called back and it's music playing like a circus. Had them blocked from calling my phone.

Same as above. Person leaves a message, can't understand them. They sound like they are trying to make a call going down the road in a convertible with the top down!

they call me from this number and always ask for some other person.  When I tell them they have the wrong number they ask me do I know that person.  How stupid, if the idiots have the wrong number what makes them think that I know the person that they are looking for.

I have received numerous calls from this "debt collector" requesting power of attorney for my daughter regarding supposed debts.  When I confronted them with their scam references online, suddenly the date of birth differed from my daughter and was promised my phone number would be removed.  First of all, my daughter has absolutely NO debts, company was using her maiden name which she has not used in a decade and they had an incorrect middle initial for her.  DO NOT GIVE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION TO STRANGERS.  Extremely questionable business methods.

Received a message from a live person asking for our office manager.  Message said they are ???? Credit Corp calling to collect a debit.

There is no people at this number. only machines asking for your personal information like full name and social security number and account information. never says who they are.

This is a machine, if you recieved the call or call back. They will not tell you the name of the company or what they want, they just continually ask for your name, social security number, and account information. I would suggest reporting this number to the National do not call registry. As this helps with there investigations against the owner of the number.

This is a machine asking for your name, SSN, and bank information, calls to and from. Also does not state the name of the company the what the bussness is about, just keeps asking for you information.

Keep getting calls saying they are debt collectors - asking for my husband.  Did not recognize the number, but they keep leaving messages.  The messages are very hard to understand - lots of background noise.  I know we are paying our debts, so decided to look this number up and found it is a scam number!

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ASKING FOR THE LAST FOUR NUMBERS OF MY SS# BUT THEY DONT TELL ME WHO THEY ARE EXCDEPT THAT THEY ARE FINANCIAL
INSTUTION BUT WILL NOT GIVE THEIR NAME.
