Picked up the call and the other side hung up.  I suspect it's a telemarketing method for figuring out what times you pick up the phone.

did they stop calling after you told them to?

be careful about those, there are some that ask u for ur number and if u voluntarily give it out, what they end up doing is they can make long distance calls and s*** but charge it through ur number.!!! careful!!!

I finally picked up for this number, stayed quiet, then they asked for me by name. They usually just hang up when I answer. I was pissed. I asked if it was Shaw cable- no- Can Read, Winnipeg? I blasted him and he got snarky. I said Please take this number of the list as they were calling 3 times a day.

I agree with Sarah. I got the internet and this friggin number is calling my cell all the time. I just called it from my house number and I got a voice that said press 1 if you no longer wish to be contacted. Then it asks you to add your 10 digit phone number. After that you have to wait a few days for them to process your request.

Ever since i got the internet last week this number started to call my cell phone... When i went to answer it there was no one there i think if as something to do with the info we give out on the net..
