they called me about a bill from way past the SOL, over six years ago and were very rude to me, when I explained I was on SSD now, the supervisor told me I should have thought of that before I made the bill, that was my problem, I told her it was her f**** problem.  Like I knew I would become disabled and no job. anyway here is ther info:

This company' been calling me the past few days and talk in a VERY harassing voice to me. They guy was obviously from India and was saying he was from TCS collection services trying to get money from me for a year old Columbia House DVD account. I don't have a Columbia House DVD account and have never recieved anything in the mail about owing money for such a thing. I've lived at the same address for the past five years. They only call my cell number. When I called the number back a few days later, the same guy who called me a few days before answered the phone. It seems very shady. I know this is a scam and want it to stop! They were trying to get money from me over the phone. SCAM! BEWARE!

I have been receiving calls from this phone number for over a month now and I would like to know who they are and why they keep calling me.

So I just get home from work and see that I had a message on my home phone.  I always look at the caller id first, then listen to messages.  The CID said "Unknown Name 110-000-0000".  The message was a recording...rushed speaking over the company name then that it was "imperative" that I call them at 1 877-466-5701.  Since I couldn't understand the company name I googled it and came here.   I may have an old bill with them, I'm really not sure.  If I do, it's old.   I just think it's weird.   And annoying.

Someone from this number keeps calling me over and over again; I've asked them to remove my cellphone number from their data base, but they still call, only more now than before.  My first reaction is to rip out their throat and piss on their spine, but difficult to accomplish on a cellphone.  They were asking for Damacus Love.

I've been getting calls from this number again and again.  At first I told them they had a wrong number.  They still called.  I told them to remove me from their database.  They still called.  I got really rude with them.  They still called.  Then I got an email about not returning calls from area code 809 because is was a scam and that if you called the number, you'd be charged $2,450 per minute.  So when they called again today, I told them that the guy they were trying to get in touch with was no longer my boyfriend and gave them his phone number at work (809) 382-5968; then I encouraged them to call him often and harrass him until they got their money because he was just being a deadbeat.  Each time they call that number, they'll be billed the minimum of $2,450.
Revenge is sweet.

These dumb bastards have called me 8 times in the last 20 minutes. They refuse to send me any confirming information so that I may file a police report. It's just a bunch of smart a** Indian guys looking to make a buck off of dumb a** people.

Eats Indians kept calling looking for someone else, 5 times a day on my new cell # called them from my house phone to tell them for the LAST time knock it off and they added the number to their file!!!!!  I called A T @ T PHONE SECURITY.

Clownshoes Paki or Indian guys trying to scam people.  Though I'm a federal investigator, I don't deal with this crap much.  I called from a different line and asked what kind of business they were in.  He wouldn't tell me.  I told him about the FCC regs, but he didn't care, which tells me it's probably all run from overseas and no one is going to touch these guys.  I was concerned I might be receiving charges just by answering my phone, but this board has lessened those fears.  Maybe it's time to have a little fun with them.  Tell them I can't talk - I'm eating hamburger from a freshly killed cow or something.....

They keep on calling looking for someone else.
I have asked them to remove me from the list.  They claim that they do then couple hours later they call back.

If you do not recognize a number, do not answer your phone. If nobody ever answers these calls, they will stop. Do not call them back or become upset. These calls are a ploy by the cell phone providers, propogated by the sale of our phone numbers to anybody willing to pay for them, to increase usage, and therefore increase charges and provide them justification for more bandwidth allocation. If nobody ever answers these calls, then the calls will not generate the desired effect. The calls will then become an expensive liability to the callers, and they will be forced to stop.

If somebody calls you from a number you do not recognize, and it is important, they will leave an important message. Then, you can call them back.

These people TCS just called me at 10 minutes to midnight!  When I told him "kevin" what time it was, he said "are you sure?"  Also called at 10:30pm and 10pm.  BMG charged me for a shipment I never got and reshipped.  They billed me both times, then processed a credit for the lost shipment, then started billing me for it again.  I called when I got the new billing and explained what happened, but said I had to PROVE IT.  That was April 2007.  Now these idiots are making long distance INTERNATIONAL phone calls, bugging me.  I'm sure they've spent over the $40 they claim I owe them, and they can keep spending their money talking to my recorder.

wow they definetly called me today and wtf what part of send me a bill dont they understand.. saying i ordered something in may of 2008 from colombia house. Ok one in may i spent my time in the military hospital pushing out a baby in germany. For those of you receiving calls to your verizon cell phone.....sign up for parental controls. You can block up to 20 numbers from ever reaching your phone. Its $4.99 a month but well worth it to me to win the battle. Each time they call add that number.

All u people are dumb s**ts. Takhar Collection Services is a collection agency who collect on behalf of BMG Columbia house. The reason they call is because you owe a debt. Your number is showing up on the file. All you have to do is send in a written request to have your number removed from that file. Its a simple concept pay your bill and you wont get any calls. fools.

I got a call on my cell from this number and the guy asked for me by name that it was an important business matter in attempt to collect a debt I told him dont be calling my tracfone. he then asked may I have your home number. I told him no. That if he was truely trying to collect a debt that I actually owed that he would already have my home number. I use my home number for bills ect, not my tracphone. This guy called me back 7 times in a row. I threatened to file harrassment. he continued to call back. Finally I turned my ringer off.

I keep getting these calls too. I don't answer them, because all i get on the caller ID is "Unknown name". But I have received at least 40 of these calls in the last week. Since I have a fax machine on this line, I lust let the phone ring until the fax picks up, and lets them have a blast in the ear.

I think that the best thing to do is complain to the phone company about harassing phone calls. Their phone provider may just cut their service off for violating the law. Also, the FBI should be notified, this scam may be a violation of the federal RICO statues. Make sure that you're on the National Do Not Call list, too. Violation provides for criminal penalties for the caller.

We have enough going on with the economy without having a bogus comapny callingt begging for money.  Get a job stop calling people who areharding working and trying make ends meet with IMPORTANT issues. Your games are tiring find another or may I say an HONEST way to make a living and stop harrasing already hurting people. Thia company keeps calling my home and I am tired of it.  They do not have a person on the line, just a recorded messeage that it is imperative that I return the call.  If there is a way to stop this annoying and harrassing event I need to know how without any financial charges to me.  It is very annoying and I would like it to stop.

Calls keep coming from this company - sometimes they hang up or ask for someone else. This time I waited and they said this was a bad debt collection for BMG Music Columbia Accts from 2006. Never used them ..... I owed $69 but they would settle today for $46 but I told them it was a bogus call. They said if it wasn't paid today it was going into collections and against our credit. I asked for a bill and they said they have sent several attempts and have done their job. I said no - we would have gv it our attorney because its not valid. I asked for an address - they gv me an apt. #  address.... Not valid again - we have not lived in an apt for many yrs. He became angry and irritated. I asked for the city he sent the bill - he said NY. We have not lived in NY for over 15 yrs. What a joke! I told him to stop taking advantage of people and trying to get them to pay invalid debt. What a bunch of scammers!!!!!!! BE careful! Funny thing is if it was us and we gv them our phone number b/c thats how he has it - our number was only given to us a yr ago. But the initial debt was over 2 yrs ago. Story does not add up. I think they are finding names and numbers and calling to scam people into thinking they owe money.

This number called me twice today! They said I needed to call them back as soon as posible, but they were asking for someone I never heard of!

I have been receiving calls from this company everyday for about 2 weeks now. They claim I owe them $47.18 for CD's from BMG. Funny, I've never done business before with Columbia House or BMG due to the fact they are so grossly over priced on the same stuff I could get at Wal-Mart for $5.

They tried that crap with ruining my credit report and when I advised him I work for a credit reporting agency (which I do, so I know what can and can NOT damage your credit) they said, 'Oh, have a nice day then' and hung up fast.
