The gov set up a DO NOT CALL LIST promising the American public that when you file a complaint with them that they will investigate the phone # and give them a fine. Well, that was 5+ years ago and just like the gov they don't follow through with promises.

Repeated calls over a 5 day period.  They never leave a message, so it must not be very important. They've now found their way onto my Blocked Numbers list for at least 6 months, he-he....

I have received phone calls from 8774789876 for the last 2 months.  Sometimes twice a day.  They say that they want to come to my home and explain medicare as I will be truning 65 soon.  I keep asking them not to call but they are persistant.

I use AT&T uverse....they have a section on their web site where you can manage features...and one of those features allows you to block specific phone numbers....That is what I have done.

I called the operator, she said to push numbers 1 thru 0 quickly (1234567890) when they call.  Then hang up. That should prevent them calling.  Haven't tried it yet but will next time. If it works it might work on all phone numbers you don't want calling.

Verizon offers their customers blockage of  5 unwanted phone numbers for 90 days. You can re-register that unwanted number(s) again if necessary after expiration.

We  have been getting  calls from this no. several times a day for the past 2 weeks.  I tell them we're on the Missouri no call list and put us on their list and they hang up.I have no idea who the company is or where they are located.  I need this information to report them to Missouri  no call abuse list in order to have this number blocked.

So annoying . They keep calling and no one is there. We are on the DNC!!!!!!!!

Caller calls every 3 or 4 hours .. hang up .. no message  Cannot reach the number when trying to call back

At Least twice a day I get this call, no one is there ...then you hear "goodbye".
So weather I do not answer, answer and hang up, or wait for them to speak, it doesn't make a difference. THEY need to be stopped!!

The number comes up as "toll free" and they keep calling me! SO ANNOYING!!!!! Puls the first time they called it went to voice mail and it said good afternoon and then hung up!

The phone 877-478-9876 calls many times per day. Always when answered, they hang up in your ear. I tried calling the number, and I was told that the number is out of my phoning area.

I answer the phone..they hang up.. they call again..they hang up..I tried to call back a few times...just says"I'm sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed" how do I stop these calls on my land-line...they call me constantly!!!!  ty!!!

I spoke with them about a medical alert device. I didn't want it, and asked to be removed from the mailing list. Since then, they have called every few minutes. After a few moments pause, the computer says "Good-bye" and hangs up. Very annoying.

I quit answering from this number...get 4 ot 5 calls a day.... I am registered on the no call system.. which evidently isn't worth nothing...going to report it to my server  and Mo Attorney General.... dammed annoying....

They have called me five time this morning. When I answer and say 'hello' they hang up. I call back and it says unavailable. Very annoyed because it has woken me up numerous times today and in the past.

Called twice  at 9:48am and 9:58am..stupid sounding female voice always says goooobye.  Wish it really was goodbye.  What can we do to make them stop this harassment?

I keep getting calls from this number but no one is there.  I want them blocked or stopped!!  877-478-9876  If I get someone I will tell them off.  When I call the number back it tells me due to the phone company the call can't be connected!

Got a call from 877-478-9876 and nobody was there. I called it back and the call by verizon can not be completed please check ther number and try again is the message I got. I hate when this happens....

can someone stop them from calling?  i thought that it was against the law and they could be fined if you told them to stop.

This number has called me every day 2 - 4 times. I have asked them to please stop calling, but they still call. I finally had to agree to have someone come to my home on Monday in order to have them stop calling. This has been pure harassment.  The only way to stop them was to agree to someone coming to my home.  That person will get a big piece of my mind on Monday.

Thats the same thing that happens to me. I am so sick of it!
