The number called my cell, left no message.

This is a version of the automatic debit scam as described by the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel06.shtm  It's frequently mysterious as to how they got your account info in the first place but at some time, you had to have given/used your account for something ($-off coupon if you accept "free" trial of something at checkout or taken a survey, etc.) and buried in the fine print is authorization to auto-charge your account every month with bullsh*t subscriptions that may be very difficult to unsubscribe from. The methods used to get you to "agree" to the fine print is endless and they come up with new ways every day.
To stop the billing, contact the scammer to kill the subscription and get your money back and if that fails, tell your card issuer or bank that fraud has occurred and have them refund the money and replace the account. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

i had 99.00 taken out of my bank acct.that i did not authorize from platinum services, don't even know who these people are. how do i get my money back  any suggestions thank you

Got a phone call from 877-479-9817 at 10:30PM. Ovbiously this is a scam because businesses dont call after like 9PM. I have no Idea who they are, but I didnt purchase anything from them.

OK, I called 1877-479-9819 and was able to get through to someone in just a few minutes.  They said they I had been enrolled in something, of course in the fine print, after 14 days, so I canceled then and there.  Give the number a try to see if you can get your money back.

Yep, they just took 47.50 from me as well.  Does anyone know how to get your money back?

I'm pissed off. I just got my monthly credit card bill and found out that I've just been scammed. They took $47.50 three times and $99.00 one time from my credit card account. Somebody put and end to this!! I don't want to get charged for this s***!!! ARGGGGGHHHHH!!!

I had the same thing happen to me and I am extremely mad!!  Can't get anyone to answer the phone - only a recording saying "this mailbox is full".  Called the bank and got my card cancelled and they are going to help me dispute this.

This is obviously a scam.  They took 47.50 and then 668.51 on same day. I'm going to notify Google they need to look into this. These scammers are using Google's logo and everything, I'm sure it's not legal!

HAPPENED TO ME TOO! its rediculous. a cd for 1.95 ends up being 47.50 and 99.00. i went to my bank and canceled my debit card. they tried taking the 47.50 out of my account 6 times!!! its crazy. from arizona and great britian!!!! OMG THATS CRAZY. wow google! scamm! for sure.

Same phone number and company took withdrawals from my bank account because my wife ordered the bloody CD after I told her it was most likely a scam. These crooks withdrew $1.95, $47.50, and $99.00.  There's going to be hell to pay.

They did it to me to! Canceled the card, can't get anyone on the phone. These people suck!

Same thing happened to me. I am going through my bank to get the charge off of there.

Finally reached a person that does not speak very good english to only hear that they will take the 47.50 because I ordered the CD and I had 10 days to cancel, would not let me speak to a supervisor or security dept, had gone to bank and put a fraudulent unauthorized charge stop payment on account and told the idiots that I will make 500 copies of CD and sell to everyone I know for 50 cents and make profits from this so called company.

This just happened to me when I checked my account. I went back to the advertisement and tried to call the numbers that were available but they were disconnected. I am now going to my bank.

Woke up this morning to discover that this outfit had taken $99.00 out of my account.  Google of course does not acknowledge "Google of Scottsdale, AZ" (the 877-479-9817 number).  And, when I called Google Profits they say that the only charge they took out was the initial $1.97.  I got my bank to block anyting else on this card, and to issue me another card so they can't continue taking funds out.  It's a shame, but it appears that these Google ad plans are just another "work-at-home" scam.....

Thay also took $99 from my account which I just dispute. I have also put a freeze to my credit card. This sounds like a big scam.

Took 99.00 out of my account!  I had called them regarding a work at home position and purchased a training CD for 1.97.  Rec'd a phone call very pushy about doing something NOW...told them it would be Sept before I could even consider anything.  They wanted all kinds of information and when i wouldn't give it they said then this probably isn't for you...I hung up and thought that was that!  Then the money comes out of my account.  Whenever I try to call, I get the msg that that party is on the phone to leave a msg then they tell me the msg box is full.  Called bank to have payment stopped.

Took $47.50 out of my acccount.  I think this is the internet company called "Google Profits", not affiliated with Google.  I bought a training CD for $1.97, but they must of had some fine print saying they would charge me later.  I'm gonna fight this!
