Received numerous called from this number. They never say anything. Them I call them back and ask them why they keep calling me. They ask for my number. I gave it to them. After pausing for about three seconds they hung up.

I get calls from this number every day several times a day. I never pick it up.

I get two or three or four calls from this number every day. I recently got a bundle from Time Warner for a land line, Internet and cable TV but I don't use the phone so no one knows my "new" number that I never use but they keep calling every day.  I see their number on my Caller ID on my TV.  But there is no phone, just the phone number.  

Day after day they called, nobody there when you pick up the phone, no message when you don't.
I called them back and they asked me my name, I said '"You called me who are you trying to reach?" they gave me two names, not me. I told them I'm on a DNC list and don't call again. I have no idea what they wanted or what they do, but I will keep a record if they call again.

how do people not know yet never to pick up the phone when you don't recognize the caller ID? Once you pick up, they know someone is home, and will call you forever.

The initial calls are robots, with only one purpose, to see if anyone picks up the phone. Once you do, you're screwed.

These people call me everyday asking for someone  by the name David.  David is my last name, not my first.  I told several time that I don't know this David person and they just have another person call me.

They call almost every day and never leave a message. Why bother?

I suspect identity theft as I get many calls from them asking for totally different names.  guess they try to match their stolen credit card numbers with phone numbers, addresses and names.  someone did use my credit card in another state.  how did they get a physical credit card same as mine?  I read on some British sites that outsourced customer service in india is selling our info.  then a company like this makes sure that the stolen card can be used.   i spammed them and I can see they had called but my phone doesn't ring when they call.

that is a big lie.  I have told them that they were calling for wrong names numerous times.  Still, they are calling.  I spammed the number and cannot bother me anymore.  But that doesn't mean they aren't stupid the least but I suspect identity fraud.

I also have received several calls from this number and no one is there when I pick up

After multiple calls (I'd had the number for only a couple of days before the calls started), I called the number that another poster listed, spoke with Kim, and recd an assurance of no more calls. Time will tell.

They keep calling me. I'm not sure why. They have never left a message and have not sent anything in the mail. If they truely want to resolve a situation why don't they identify who they are, who they are trying to contact and why they are calling. By just calling over and over again without leaving a message people will conclude that they are trying to harass and intimidate. Crazy thing is that it might work if the person being harassed knows why they are being harassed so that they can do somthing about it (ie. like try to pay that bill before another one that isn't calling yet).

PEOPLE bud hibbs is a consumer advocate against low life debt collectors he has succesfully closed down some low life companies and law firms also he has been doing this for over 25 years

This company LLC called my home this morning asking for a relative who does not live with me.
When I asked what the call was in reference to the operator would not give me any information I asked to speak with his supervisor . Well when the so call supervisor he was rude inappropriate  . I informed him that the operator would not provide me with any information  and was inappropriate as well . The supervisor told me that he was listening in and the operator was not rude and  what was my problem. I informed this person who would not give me his name  not to call my home ever again and that I was reporting this company to the Better Busines Bureau

Keeps calling my home and asks for two different management companies that used to run my building. I could accept that one of those management companies may have at one time held my phone # before it was mine, but no possible way both did. So it's a scam of some sort. Also, the people I talk to when the call get upset because I will not tell them ANYTHING of use and then the try to intimidate me by speaking with feigned authority.

they called looking for someone who lives at a completely different address than mine.  they apologized and said they would remove me from the list.

This number 877.486.3669 called me at 8:24am asking for someone, I told them no and they called me again at 8:27am and keep on asking for the same person. I just hung up on them.

This caller calls throughout the day, never speaking, and occasionally leaves a silent voice message, sometimes up to 5 minutes long. Extremely persistent and annoying.

this is a debt collector, just call them back and say remove my number.  By law they have to whether they are calling the correct person or not.  Be forceful if you have to they are tricky.

I called back and said that I received multiple calls from this number. They will ask for the number that was called. I gave the same number since they have been calling it. Then, they run through a list of similar names that they are looking for.None were even close to my name. They apologized and took my number off their list.
Problem solved... and I never gave them my name.

Allied Interstate, a collection agency. You have to say hello in order for their end of the conversation to be activated and connected from their computer to their phone. Their computer dials calls all day long.  If you say nothing, the computer cuts the call off.

I receive numerous calls from this number asking for personal info!  Never divulge and they never stop calling.
