They called my number and they hung up after they found out it was a business.

I  have received at least 7 calls from 877-486-5003, requesting to speak with someone who is charge of the estate of recently deceased individual.  The caller left her name as Karen Lee and gave me a referencce number.  Needless to say all calls have been deleted.  The damn collection agencies won't even let you die in peace.

I was out of town for a week and a half and when I got home I had received  3 pre-recorded messages asking if I were the person in charge of the affairs of a Richard Traver or Trager.  Finally I got a message from a real person, an Andrew Thompson, about the same thing asking me to call the above number and giving me a reference number.  Of course, I did not call it back.

WOW, YEA, IT'S A COLLECTION AGENCY, "NO SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH" IM AMAZED ON HOW THEY HAVE PEOPLE CALLING AND YET THEY CAN'T SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH, YET, IM NO ONE TO CRITIZE SO SORRY IF I OFFENED ANYONE.



COLLECT CALLS! YIPES!

Same as everyone else however I went to an operator and it is a collection agency.  So if you get this call you must owe someone money.

I received the same call as Henry.  Unlike Henry, I thought the first part of the call sounded like a mechanical voice; plus it pronounced a name similar to mine, but not real close.  The second part asked me to call Mrs. Thompson at 877-486-5003.

Same story as Karen's, except I received two calls.  Both start out with a live, partially english-speaking person stating, "This message is for (first name, last name)".  Then they play a pre-recorded message; "Hi, this is Mrs. Thompson.  I need you to return my phone call at your earliest convenience.  My toll-free number is 1-877-486-5003. Just ask for Mrs. Thompson".  Using otherwise the exact same words in quotes, I received another phone call and pre-recorded message from "Mr. Allen".

This is likely a result of the expiration of the "do not call" lists.

Tricksters like this shouldn't receive a call back from anyone.

Did they say the company name was Omni Worldwide? The call came on the company I work for number. A voice message was left with a very thick accent asking for me and then a american woman asking that I call her back and ask for Ms. Thompson. No idea. I dont think I will call them back.

I recieved a message on my personal cell phone requesting me (by name) to call this number back and ask for a specific person. When I did, (never identifiying myself) I asked them what their business was about and the representative gave me a VERY vague answer.  

He said something to the effect of wanting to make sure they had the correct business info with the correct individual but would not tell me anything more than that.  I don't (nor have I ever) own a business of any kind!

Coming from a banking background and being well on my guard, I thanked him and hung up.

Sounded like a PHISHING scam to me folks - I would be leary!
