Somebody named Franz called asking for a person and the person who answered asked who is calling, and he said Franz, about a business matter. His call back number is 877-487-4232

called twice, no message. It is getting close to tax time and the previous holders of my phone number were not very responsible with their finances.

This is awesome! Isnt my debt but they called me at 8:20 a.m. Think I'll let them keep calling so I can get a larger settlement :)

Received a call from this #. When I called back to tell them to take me off whatever list the had, all I got was a message saying they were busy and for me to leave my name and social security number. These people are just an Identity theft scam.

Yes, they are a collection agency but I know I don't owe anybody.  At first I got those "empty" calls, where they hang up once you answer.  I assume this is some sort of harassment.  They way I got rid of them was to pick up the phone and hit the mute button, if they can't talk to you or leave a message on your machine they eventually go away.  NEVER establish contact with them on the phone, they will argue with you and threaten you forever.  Next time though I think I'll try the *57 trick.

In order to get these #'s to stop calling, just dial *57. I get these calls too. I've learned over the years which ones to avoid. When they start up, I just *57, and then I get months of not being bothered. I, also am on the donotcall.gov list, but these calls have a tendency to sneak through.

They have been calling us sometimes up to 5 times a day. No one ever answers it just hangs up on us. Today around 2:23pm someone did reply to our hopeless "hello" this man told my husband they are from a company called "Van ru" and it is in Florida. Then the man hung up on my husband. Hope this helps stop the calls. it is 2:28 pm and they just called using 800-305-6664 with a recorded message grrrrrrr STOP THE CALLS

I believe they are a debt collection agency.  I had 3 calls today from them,
the first and third went to dial tone when I answered (1 was very early).
The second asked for a first name I have never heard of.

They did display their number but I sat in front of a speaker phone for an hour - they did not take the call.

this phone number has called me and when I answer no one answers. I hang up and call back all they do is put me on hold. No one would talk! I did get a recording saying that your call may be monitored then music comes on the line!

I also think they are a collection agency.  They called and asked for someone with the same last name and said the person had put my number down on their application.  However, my phone listing shows only a first initial (the same as the person they sought) and a last name so my guess is they were fishing.

I confirmed they are a collection agency (someone actually picked up the third time they called today) and when I said there was no one here by that name they said, "We hear that from everyone."

we recive probably 4 calls from this # everyday. i called the number back and got the same response as betty, i stayed on the line for 2 hours and waited! i thought it may be in connection with the "voice your choice" thing. i hate those people with a passion, if i could figure out who it is i would have a fairly compelling harrassment suit.

sorry to keep replying, I just got another call today and I missed the call, but right after pressed *57 and it said call failed.  Hopefully it will work now, because the calls are getting really really annoying.

Everytime I dial *57, I'm safe for months. As a matter-of-fact, up until this morning, 8 am, the last time I got any of these bothersome calls, was before Halloween. I can put up with months in between, rather than not. So go ahead and dial. Your life is better spent than running for the phone unnecessary. I have a large family, so I know.    lol   Good luck.

Just recieved another call from this #.  When I answered the phone they said that they were with First Premier Credit Card Company.  Hope this helps someone.

Receive several calls daily for sometime now.  Theysay it is not a marketing call and ask for Billy D Arnold.  Just get placed on hold when calling the number displayed on caller ID.  I want these calls to stop.

They just called me again using the number 800-305-6664 it was recorded message telling me to call a Andy at that number before i could hang up i got another from a Cory at ANOTHER number 702-520-1396 from Consumer Corp as it says on my caller ID hope this helps to STOP THE MADNESS i shared my info with whocallsme.com too

I've gotten 4 calls from this number today! Who are these people and what do they want?

I am also on the "no call list".  The caller told me she was calling about a Premier Bank Visa Card - which I do not have - wanted to verify my middle initial and last four digits of my Social Security Number.  When I refused and questioned her, she said to call back and speak to her supervisor.  When I called the number she gave me, the message was to hold, however, no one ever answered.

I have received 3 calls from this number today alone, not to mention the numerous calls received each day from this number. I ignore every call from it now. I own a trac fone and do not want to use my minutes for this stupidity!!!!!! I have called it from a land line and got no response. I am really sick of this!!!
