This number calls me everyday, caller id says 800 Service.....Have  never answered when they call.

i have been receiving these calls for about 4 months and just read all the reviews.  i also called back the number to have my number removed.  the recording said it was a consulting service.

Sorry, I'm NOT putting my real name in the above space.  I've learned that's exactly what scammers want - as MUCH information as they can get, whatever you will leave, no matter where.  The other woman who mentioned "Scholarships for Moms" is right.  A few days ago on the internet, I clicked on a link to win a scholarship.  This is NOT from Netflix (or the others that guy mentioned).  This is because of "Scholarships for Moms".  Do NOT click to win a scholarship from them OR give them ANY of your information.  Don't.

I get calls from this number and many more like it dozens of times a day.  I can't for the life of me figure out what website I visited and put my phone # but I must've and I'm pissed off.  If you're receiving these calls on your cell phone put the number in your contact list, name it something appropriate, and then have the phone send those calls directly to your voicemail.  Your phone won't ring and you won't be bothered.  I've done this with about 10 different numbers now and everytime a new number calls I do the same with that one.  It's a hassle but it's more of a hassle when your phone goes off 30 times a day.  Good luck everyone.

I have gotten call after call week after week from these people and EVERY time... I say, "Im not interested, take me off your list.."
They just called 7 min ago... YET AGAIN... so thats why Im posting to this. If someone figures out exactly What company this is or has a good call back number for them... PLEASE let me know...
In the Meantime, i will do the suggestion of typing tons of numbers on the phone to see if it will take our number off the list that way.

I called the number back after receiving 2 calls. The message: "Thank you for calling greene college"
There were automated options to remove my number from their system.
It takes 24/48 hours to be removed.
She sounded pleasant, maybe 50 yrs old and from Minnesota estimating from her accent.

I also started receiving calls from this number a few days ago, multiple times a day. I want to say it was after I filled out some online info for receiving a free 4G iphone. However I called the number and was able to remove my number from their phone list. Hope it works!

This number has been calling me nonstop for the past few days - about 4 times per day. I answered twice and spoke with a person and I told her to not call me again - they have continued to call.

Call is either generated by registering for continued education or most likely from having completed and scholarship applications or registering with any scholarship finding websites.

If you wait till after the call and call back you will get a recording that states who they are and give you the option to remove yourself from their call list, we'll see if that actually works or not.

What was the application? Was it online?

I just got a call from this number AS I was reading these threads! I turned my answering machine off and let my fax kick in instead. Let's see how this works...will keep you all informed.

number keeps calls 4-5 times a day. We don't answer if we don't recognize the number. If they want us that bad they can leave a message.

I called the number back and was given an option to remove my number from their calling list. Lets see if it works.

I was so annoyed by these callers that do not say anything  that I started to block them. The only problem is that I had to pay $100 for a digitone call blocker that blocks all the numbers by area code e.g 1-800 or 1-877. In the long run it is much better and cheaper than using the phone company call blocker because it gives more flexibility compares to blocking up to a max of 10 numbers.

ok to people who dont know this , telemarketing companies now have machines that call you and wait to see if you will answere if you dont it calls back till you do and when you do it will call back till you answere it 3 times , this now tells the main computer of a telemarketing agency what times you are home , it then adds your # to the list of #s to call at what ever time it finds that you are home , if someone calls and you answere and they say nothing , start pushing random #s quickly on your phone , this then tells the machine that called you that it has reached a fax machine and then automaticaly (yup you got it) removes your # from the list. another thing i like doing is when a telemarketer calls , simply tell them to hold on a sec for what ever reason and set the phone down till it start beeping , rather than the telemarketer wasting your time , you just wasted his.

They wont stop calling. They leave no message.
