I received a phone call from 877-488-0358 re; a bill re; martin memorial medical group, I spoke to a person named Nancy at 722-419-4820??? and authorized w/ my c.c. a $31.63 payment on a bill of $131.63 and made arrangements for $30.00  and $30,00  and $40.00 monthly payments to pay it off.  The next day the entire $131.63 was taken from my account. At NO tome was anything said about debt collection or anything.
I recalled the lady Nancy and she agreed to return the $100.00 to my account and keep our arranged monthly payments as scheduled.   NO action as of this date,  4 days later.

I had called the JOEL OSTEEN  program to buy tickets for their upcoming performance but the lines were busy.   A few days later I got a call from someone who said "I apologize for the inconvience but we were so busy with sales , I can take your order now. So I bought 10 tickets.  guess what?   I got ZERO tickets, I got no reciept, no e-mail, and they also opffered a free c.d. with purchase of the tickets, I didn't get that either.   the phone number appears to be a fax machine  -  don't know how they got my info. I called the Venue, Ticketmaster and the Joel Osteen program and none of them have any record of my name.     This # is not the same # that I originally called to buy tickets, but how did they know that I called?

Is this a 'payment process service' for a good or service that you did purchase?  Maybe you gave your number to someone who does not have a "real" merchant account and they use this clearing house account?????  Otherwise, how did they get your billing information?????

How did they get your bank account number to take your money ?

$200 charge from same number and same as mentioned by everyone else..we need to shut these fools down thats creating this fraudulent activity..

The caller is Portfolio Recovery. I had them call years ago regarding a debt from almost 20 years! The original debtor sold off the debt and now someone else is attempting to collect when it should have just been written off!!!

Our biz acct. was charged $50 today. Called the bank and they gave us the number, 877-488-0358. They said the transaction was done in the afternoon, Pacific time. We're going to the bank in the morning.

I was charged $400.00 to my checking account that I did not authorized and when I tried to call the number listed it was a fax number.   I want my money back into my account

Turns out this was an authorized charge from over a month ago. It is a legit company. HUGE insurance company, in fact. I don't know about the other issues people posted on here.

Someone from this same number charged one of our customers $25.80 on their card. The number again was a fax, but vendor called us since it said our name that charged it, a research of our records showed nothing to that company for this amount. They are disputing the charge, but it is very creepy. that is why it is good to look at our bank statements every month.

i did not receive a call, but i was charged 68 bucks by West Asset Management, GA with the same number.

I too, had a 25.00 charge taken out of my account this weekend.  I have no idea what it's for.  If I call the number provided it keeps going to a fax machine.  If anyone knows anything about this phone number, please let me know.  Thanks!

I just got charged $75 from same phone number- West Asset Managment. A phone call has proven ineffective as it appears to be a fax machine. Call another line, "TLG" (same previous number) and get the run around. "We aren't affiliated." B.S. If you google the telephone number there are numerous acronyms tied to the same number. Can I getta SCAM?

I got charged 272 on my credit card and this number appeared there too.  I cannot call them either.

Charge from this number with a merchant ID of PADF tried to hit my bank account.  Number appears to be a fax machine at Founders College in Durham, NC.  Charges may also be associated with carphone warehouse in London.

They charged 30 to my bank account. Yes the number is a fax! No way to contact these folks. Sad part is my bank asked me, "Well did u try to contact the merchant!" Obviously the bank isnt doing their job investigation my dispute to well, otherwise they wouldve known it was a fax and no way to contact them neither! UGH! I hate the USA Banking system.....gotta prove yourself to everything....even that you were scammed. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Its like "The person who scammed you is the one always right...now prove to us that you deserve your money back" its so bogus and stupid! All the while the crooks have taken off with our money and moved on...during all this duration. So dumb!

This is a creditor

I just saw a $47 charge taken from my account as well with the same information as everyone here has listed.  Then the last post said is was a creditor.  Thats what this is.  We evicted a tenant that left us with unpaid bills.  We just received a call from a collection agency and paid the bill through them.  Unfortunately people, you may have unresolved debts that you just paid.

i got a call from this number saying i owe some bills from at&t. but there were no monthly bills stating i owed this much. $84.75

I was charged $0.23 which thankfully I found before they could take a larger amount out. Tried the phone number and sure enough same thing, it's a fax. The bank said merchant was PADF.  I cancelled my debit. Hopefully something is done to locate these people and hold them accountable for this scam!!

this number charged $10 to my checking account 22 times in just a few minutes. Bank of america is investigating the issue.

said to call them becuz i have done business with a client of theirs in the past.  discocovered $41 withdrawn from my bank account with only this number for identification.  when attempting to call this number it does not work.

On 11/23 I got a $100 charge on my visa.  Never heard of West Asset Management(listed on my statement as the payee).  No idea what for.  It connects to what sounds like a fax machine.
