I get calls every day at least 3-4 times a day, sometimes I just let it ring..... Very annoying!!! I answered it one time and asked if they don't have anything better to do then bother people?!

They call me every two hours even when im at school. Its like they want something from me.

It was a call from DirecTV. I am a customer and was curious why I was receiving a call. My account is fine though.

I receive several calls from this number and when I go to answer and say hello, they hang up and never leave a message!

This number repeatedly calls me and says that they are with Direct TV. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!! Don't even give them your name or phone number which are the first 2 things they ask for. Total scam.

I keep getting calls from 877-488-3557 and its DirectTv. I do not have DirectTv and never have!! I have called them numerous times and they say they cant find my # in the system and obviously my user name says that I pay my bills! I also work in the collection industry and I would never act like the reps that i spoke to on several occasions,just know there are companies that protect debtors and people who are being harrassed. Sounds like they need a couple lawsuits sent their way,mabye they will start following the laws!

This stupid a** # calls 2 or 3 times a day. Name is "TOLL FREE CALLER". I answer, they hang up. Every damn time. if its Direct TV and I owe on a bill, why is it hanging up on me? Sick of this crap!

I have had 4 times in the past year made double payments because I was late getting the first one paid on time. Me Bad, OK?  But I have been getting phone calls from all over the country. Toll free numbers, what appears to be normal phone numbers. When you answer there is silence and a hangup. Thank goodness there is a network that shares the phone numbers and exchages info. My calls are generated by Direct TV  I have no idea how they think that I will pay my bill on time by calling me and saying nothing, not even so much as to say "Hi, This is Direct TV  Please pay your bill. Goodbye"  Just dead air.  The only way you know it is Direct TV is through web information such as this.  Is Direct TV proud of this kind of practice? They are sponsoring the harassment.  Now that I am aware that this is Direct TV I will stop the service and try any number of other options. Maybe even read a book.

This number calls or text around 8:30, and 10:30 am every morning...when I answer it nobody replies back, and it wakes me up!

I am not a direct tv customer, please stop calling . This is ridiculose, I received a call from this number durning chuch service.

I am getting 3 to 5 calls a day from this number, which I think is DirecTV.. I am not past due on anything, nver have been! If it doesnt stop soon, I may no longer be a DirecTV customer!!

It is Directv that calls from this number. Which is sickning to me because they never call to see how they service is just to collect money. Like I have read from some of the comments, they are money hungry vultures.

Unwanted, unsolicited, repeated calls, but no one on the line when it's answered.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. When I answered they hung up. Then when I was trying to figure out who it was, they called back, said they were directv and asked my phone number. I told the lady she had called me, she said no, I called her. I paid my directv bill three days ago. And I don't think they even have my cell phone number.

Yeah duuhh that's cuz you haven't paid your Direct TV bill!!!!

This number calls 6-7 times a day. Sometimes with maybe a minute between calls. It's more than a pain. I don't use DTV and I'd do without before engaging their service.

Never had DirecTV service, and if I ever catch anyone on the line and they're as condescending as the collector who commented before me, I never will.

You can get rid of these calls by paying your bill!  Occasionally you'll get stuck in the system a few days after you make payment.  If you pay your bill give the system a few days before freaking out, you know the number is Directv so dont be alarmed.  If you dont have this service then its obviously wrong number.

so I paid my whole direct tv bill yesterday and they still call me wtf!!

All at least twice a day(including weekends)--I do not have any account with them(and never did and of course, never will). Intend to call the local DirectTV folks to do something. Will keep in touch here to let you know the outcome, if any.

If they send you a disconnect notice and you plan to pay before why keep calling my cell phone??  Then when I have answered before they tried to make me pay them then.  Whatever.  So I am supposed to pay with no funds.

They leave message with number and annoy the crap out of me cause payment was made yet they keep calling.  Then ask why are you late and bla bla bla Grrrrrrr if the payment was made leave us the hell alone!

ITS DIRECTV AND DONT TRANSFER YOU TO VERIZON OR NOTHING.

Getting call every day around 12:00 EST

I continue to get calls from Directv. The have MY number on someones account.  And they refuse to remove it. I put in a complaint with the MD State Attorney General.

They SAY they are Directv. I gave them the number associated with my account and they said I owe a balance of OVER $200 and that my service was currently suspended. Funny how I was watching a show on TV at the time!
 I also called the REAL customer service line and they said that my balance was $109... hmmmmm!
When I had first called that number that showed up on my cell phone it sounded echo-ish as if they were on speakerphone. The person talking to me was definitely american. I THINK it may be a scam!!

oh yeah the bill just became past due yesterday but I dont get my disability retirement until the 1st. LOL. one day and they harrass. geesh. maybe I should call them 9 times every time my TV loses signal which is several times a week.

Its DirecTV. Crappy they called today 9 times left 3 messages for a $23.14 past due balance. especially when we have been loyal customer since 2001. I called today to lower my package since they couldn't offer any deals. Funny Dish did. save us almost 60 a month. and bundle with phone company any internet save over $100 a month. so I am glad DirecTV was harrassing today with excessive calling. They didnt seem to care when I became disabled my pension was reduced by 68% and after my husband was laid off he took a job at a 12.00 hour pay cut. Thanks DirecTV for all the calls today that I tried to reach the phone and could not get in time. Once falling. time to switch.
