They asked for Mr. * Mrs.   (our names).  Told them they weren't home.   Googled their number - window and door company trying to drum up business.  I have no use for people that can't initiate business  without phone calls.  It's still called telemarketing.

By the way, we live in a condominium so there is no way the complex would have anything done by these people.  Obviously they didn't do their homework well enough.

Sorry ventus i didnt mention that even with the thickest weatherstripping that lee had put on the windows there is still an open gap on each side of every window and they dont operate properl and it looks like s***.The calking job has lots of parts on the inside that never got caulked and the outside where they did the metal frame around window was not measured properly so it looks like hell.  I really cant believe they are still in business.

Hi ventus i have had a truly bad experience with greenshield and not getting anywhere.  They installed my windows on July 1/11 it is truly a mess. I cant believe someone would over charge you by bout 3000.00 and not do the job properly.  This is my second winter of having cold air pouring through my door.  The windows were the same for 1 winter.  greenshield passed in onto Euroseal after almost 1 year of me calling and getting. Euroseal put new weatherstripping on the windows. Lee from Eroseal was a really good guy, he said he too would be furious if his house was done like that.  I have gone to the better business bureau and they have already 18 complaints against them.

So tired of them calling me every day at 12:14pm .. creepy.

It's GreenShield Windows and Doors in London, Ontario, Canada, a low-value, low-quality, super-expensive subsidiary of EuroSeal Windows and Doors (based in Vaughn, Ontario, Canada). I used to work for them, got f****d over. They do extremely low quality work, at inflated prices, and resort to underhanded, quasi-Illegal tactics in sales to try to trick unwitting customers to sign for the deal. Stay Far Way!

I used to work for these f***ers. My advice: DON'T. You WILL be screwed around, out of hours, offered no benefits, and classed as a "subcontractor" (meaning they don't have to pay taxes or benefits and can let you go at anytime for any reason). They offer net to no training or coaching, and still demand a certain volume of results each night or your shifts will be cut to next to nothing. On calls, it is encouraged to be loud, obnoxious, and borderline rudely persistant to customers. Calls also seem to violate the CRTC's rules for outbound telemarketing calls. Management changes frequently, and new management has no respect for employees that have been there for longer or for methods that actually attempt to HELP a customer. There is NO opportunity for advancement. My advice, Students looking for a summer job, DON'T fall for GreenShield's propoganda. They will try to dupe highschool students into signing on to thier corrupt organization. And let's not forget the nasty little suprises, like not properly scrubbing the list against the national DO NOT CALL list. Or calling back customers that have been "lost" from another phone line pretending to be some fictitious "Everest" windows.

And they really do terrible workmanship on customers for extremely inflated prices.

i don't pick up either if i don't know who it is

I called their toll free number and had them remove me from their calling list (After 2 weeks of calling my house every day at 6:15 pm). They were very nice about it. The person I spoke to apologized for all of the calls.

i just got a call feb.11/12 10:22am,i never picked up,if i don't know by the caller id,if i don't recongized the number from the caller id i don't pick it up.

I got a call from 877-489-2150 at 12:30 at night. When I answered this female voice said "good bye". How annoying. How are these places getting our numbers. Anyone like I don't know lets say Bell !!!!! should be sued for selling our numbers to these business. The other annoying call I get all the time is horn sound and this is your captain speaking. But there is no way to get rid of these calls any ideas???

They called me at 1218 am with no message or explanation as to why. the phone call scared the crap out of me and having me think something was wrong with a family member

I also recieved a call at 12:30am from this phone number (1-877-489-2150) .   Silence for a few seconds then female robotic voice says "goodbye"....caller ID says GWD".  I would've been angry if I had been sleeping.

1:05 am and got a call earlier today. Few seconds no response then voice says good bye.  From Windsor on

If you want to put a stop calls to a number, you need to call  bell or rogers and ask one of the customers rep. on how to do so, they will give you instruction on how to block a number. the number that you have blocked wont be able to call anymore, it would get rejected before your phone even rings
