No need to bother calling them.  The "90 minute travel presentation" gives it away.  No one making a legitimate offer would attempt to disguise their identity in this way.  They can take their "ticket sample" and shove it.  But it's nice to be able to google this number and see how many others received the same thing.

Also got a mailing as described above.  If you read the fine print on the back of the "ticket," it says "Recipient is responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and deposits.....Ninty minute travel presentation required."  I wouldn't say this is a scam, but rather one of those pesky sales presentations to get you to by a time share or whatever, and I don't need the "free" travel bad enough to want to sit through one of those pitches.

How has anyone here qualified this as a scam except for all having received a bulk mail message indicating you qualify for some seemlingly nice offer? Nothing here indicates scam except we all received a bulk mail letter with this number to call. Who owns the number? Has anyone called the number to report questions asked or success of offer?

No call from this number, however, this was a number I was requested to call to accept a "promotional offer" for two round-trip tickets plus "deluxe" accommodations to a "major international airport" in the USA.. Calling within 72 hours would further earn us a $50 dinner for 2 at either Red Lobster or Olive Garden. The airline behind this was made to look like US Airways, but the mailing did not have their name or logo on it.
The whole thing reeked of "scam" and I'd imagine they'd solicit a credit card number "for confirmation," of course. Needless to say, I did not call.
