1-855-944-1873 is not a legit # from Capital One. Don't call them back. Check with your Capital One customer service.

Like all the other posts-----they call and call several times a day---as early as 7:12 a.m. and like other posts--the one time they did pick-up--they were having technical problems with the phone, but it didn't stop them for calling back the next hour.

I don't think so.  I'm getting the phone calls and I'm not even a customer of Capital One.

I've only once been able to pick up the phone when they call.  There was a long pause (a roto-dialer, obviously).  After that I could tell someone was on the line and I said "Hello."  I think the woman just said "Hello" in return and paused.  When I said "Yes?" she hung up.

They call all the time and say nothing for 4 seconds and then hangs up

They're scam artists. Beware. If you think its Capitol One, go to CapitolOne.com and call the numbers on their company website. It is not them.

They called about one of my accounts that had an overdraft and they wanted to bring it to a "zero balance" right then and there.  The account they referenced was real, as was the amount in overdraft.  (I checked it on the computer while I was on the phone with them).

She pressed and pressed for me to handle the issue with her, but I politely refused and simply transferred that disputed amount from savings to checking online and told her it was already taken care of.  She verified this but sounded a bit disappointed.  When I asked her why she was upset, rather than happy that the problem had been taken care of, she said there was no issue with how I handled it and was glad the error had been taken care of.  She wished me a good day, and hung-up.

They indeed called from this number - but wanted me to call back (which I did) on 855-944-1873 - this is where you will find them, at least for now.

Stop calling my phone number. I get numerous calls from this number and when I pick up the line is dead. I work swing shifts and do not appreciate getting woken up with your harrassment.

Constantly receiving annoying and misleading phone calls from this number.  No one identifies who they are and when you call back, the lines are either always busy or no dial tone.

This number calls me everyday at 9:30, 12:30, and in another time, who is it??

This number calls me 7-8 times a day at all hours.  Never says anything when i pick up and when i call back it says they are out of service at this time.
