Shelly, I bet you are right- Sallie Mae bot.  If it's your cell phone I highly recommend the Mr. Number app, it blocks numbers.  they call and it will hang up on them.

Not everybody just doesn't want to pay their bill like you seem to think there are people like myself who became permanently disabled after college and physically cannot pay their bills but two that you simply say something to the effect of "well you should have thought about that before taking money from us"

They call 3-4 times a day, even on Saturday and Sunday. And if you block the number they will use 3-5 different numbers with various area codes. HOWEVER, there is never a "person" on the other end, just a message saying its Sallie Mae. My student loans are on deferrment, but they STILL call!! It's so annoying.

These people keep calling me. I have repeatedly explained to them that I got this number ten months ago and that the person they keep asking for -  "Daisy" - no longer has this number. I have no student loans. No one else at this address has any outstanding student loans with Sallie Mae or anyone else. But they won't stop calling. You'd think they'd quit wasting their time - and ours- and find this Daisy person's current number, but no, they'd rather just keep calling me.

Its Sallie Mae. They call 8 times a day, sometimes leave messages, sometimes they don't. My original loan has tripled since I got it and I owe more than I do on my house. I will never be able to pay it! If they would take a reasonable amount per month, at least they would get something, but they won't. I live in constant terror and regret that I ever went to college.

They call several times a day but NEVER say anything or leave a message!!! They can't use that as they called us if they never talk! I refuse to call them back. If they want to talk then they need to say   something  when they call!

Everyone that works for Sallie Mae needs to die. My loans get paid and these scumbags tell me they aren't.

You got federal student loans, they will have the SWAT break down your door and haul your a** to jail if you don't pay.  It's not just some bill collector, you stiffed the federal government.  Google "SWAT STUDENT LOANS".

I know who these filthy bloodsuckers are but is it legal for them to call me on nights and weekends from this number and several other numbers??? I'm currently averaging about 8 calls per day from sallie Mae collections at all different hours and from several different numbers.  I find it hard to believe that they can legally harass me like this.

It is Sally Mae. I called the number & they answered, so i know its them for sure. They let me do a defferment & put my loans up to date in just one quick phone call. Now i won't have to worry about my tax return being taken :)
