This company called my work this morning!!!! The recording asked to verify if it was me.  The call was taken by our receptionist.  She put it on hold and came and asked if I wanted the call transferred.  I told her no, and that she should hang up!
She did.  Then we looked at this site.  I'm glad we were cautious. PS Thought it was totally illegal to call people's place of employment.

Up Yours, you are absolutely correct.  There are ways to block numbers, and in a pinch you can just not answer calls in the first place unless you know who it is, and let unknown calls go to voice mail.  These people who complain so bitterly about constant calls must just like to sit on the pity pot and play games.

Send things in writing.  Stop calling and leaving no message

I have received from this number before and have asked them not to call this number, I do not know the person whom they are calling for and let them know that. At this point it is harrasment

Asking for a person , that they cannot even pronounce the name- and that does not live here- We need a way to block more than 20 numbers

This number called my fax machine this afternoon, which makes me think it's an auto-dialer.  From the other posts written here, it's not surprising that many people are getting calls from this number asking for someone else.  

This number has called me twice in two days. When I answer there's never anyone on the other end. Just dead air. VERY annoying.

Call not answered. No message left. I blocked.

The dude calling was rude and cursed.

Received another call from Tel:  877-495-0497.  The voice message said that there was an emergency.  I just hung up.
I still got this call even though I reported them to "Who Calls Me" on 04-17-2014 (See above).
Once again, I am requesting you to put us on your "Do Not Call" list.

They have now changed their name to Convergent Outsourcing Services.  they have now called me again.  I just told them to leave a message for the person they were trying to reach just so I could get the information.  Not sure what this call was about.

This is a very rude collection agency..ER Solutions (research this company.)  They called me about a HSBC Discover Account.  I do not owe them anything.  These people refuse to believe you are not the person they are looking for.  I have now turned them in to the http://www.fair-debt-collection.com.  Do NOT give this comp[any any information regarding your name, address, Bank info. and/or Social Security Number without requesting a letter from them verifying the debt.

This number has been calling my house for a few months now when i answer they have a recording then when someone comes on the phone they talk so fast that you cant understand what they say when you ask them to repeat themselves they hang up on you! So sick of these people. I just want to tell them to stop calling that they have the wrong # but everytime they answer and i start to talk they hang up on me and then call back and it starts all over again ! So frustrated!

this number showed on my CID as Not Provided..I only say hello 1 time...no one picks up..and then it is disconnected.  

I just got a call from this phone number. They are telling me they are PSNH and to verify SS# and Address. I told her Nope and hung up. So sick of these scammmers.

877-495-0497 Repeatedly calls, caller ID says "ER Solutions".

Thanks to e.c. there is a way to get rid of some of these.  I never answer. and I have no "overdue" debt.

2/16/2014; 10:04a.m. EST Caller did not leave a message; I called back and a man answered with "your call is being recorded, how can I help you".  He would not state why he was calling, or for whom he was looking, but wanted me to state the last four digits of my social security number.
