These people called my mom saying they were a debt collector and they were gonna send her to court if she didnt pay my parents are both on ssi my dad is disabled he said.it didnt matter and he will get a court order to hold my dads check i agreed to pay for them 100 a month for 10 months now im trying to get a hold of them because i need to change my atm number and noone answers i got some guy on the phone saying is for a cruise and that jd enterprise had a high volume of calls and i aksed for a different number and he hung up on me
They have already took 700 from my account and i.just decided to google the company and found out is a fraud i should have done this sooner my bank is making a claim hopefully i can get my money back

One, USPS Certified is adequate. Second, where in the FDCPA are debt collectors given a pass to melt down a phone line for a whole month after receiving a cease-comm? I seriously doubt any state mini-FDCPA permits this either. What would be the point in sending such notice if its effect was not *immediate*? If I'm feeling nice, I let the recipient have until the next morning to update its autodialer. However, some agencies have been known to raise the aggression of call tactics within hours of the receipt of any notice of contact preferences, leading to a different angle of FDCPA violation.

i got one of there lieng phone calls claiming to be sheriffs for the court and there giving me a chance to resolve this suphena because i am being sued i called to find out the name they  used was joe willis phone#562-315-5401 it turned out to be jd enterprise using a different name we need to get some laws changed that protect us the debt they harrased me about was 10 years old california law is 4 years the said the were above the law and the would get on my credit report anyway the were right they got on by checking my credit report without my permission experian said the dont need my permission

Pattie, I am an attorney in Michigan and I have to say that normally the Original creditor should of mailed you a copy of your bill or verification of the debt, Also, if a collection agency is assigned an account or a debt buyer purchases the debt, they are required to send a 30 day validation letter to the address the original creditor had. It is your responsibility to do a change of address to notify the original creditor, not the agency trying to collect the debt. Instead of complaining to dead air, why don't you contact the collection agency and speak to a supervisor that can help you. These automated verification system with Experian, Equifax or Trans-union, are done by the millions. I hope this helps you. P.S. if you feel this it not yours, Affidavits are a way to verify the facts or introduce testimony of an unavailable witness in a manner that will stand up in court. When you make an affidavit, the form for affidavit is made under oath and subject to the penalty of perjury. Therefore, it is accepted as proof of the statements contained in the sworn affidavit form.

Best bet is to get a lawyer.

How do you get this off of Experian, if the account is not legit. I have mailed proof to Experian and they still wont take it off, all because JD says it is verified and yes I confirmed with Experian that, that is all they require and no actual proof.
