I have received the same phone call and I live in Aberdeen NC. He identifies himself as David Connor and leaves this phone number talking about a summons and docket numbers and Blah Blah Blah! He always calls from an unknown number and leaves the same message. I have never called the number, but I filed a complaint with my Attorney Generals Office. Whoever David Connor is he is breaking the law and playing with  good people's minds. And I am personally SICK of it!!!

Get a Google Number and let that filter these unwanted calls. If you call this number back use your google voice number. This way these scammers cant call your personal numbers.

Got a call from my mother. A man claiming to be a private investigator looking for my husband. Told her he had a warrant to serve. Tried to scare her. This is a collection agency. The only thing it can be from is a check advance place! All they keep doing is thinking of different peoples names and new ways to scare references into getting messages to us. They have our phone number but choose to harass the references we put on the application! Its been 1 1/2 years now!! Give up I don't have your stupid $300.00 dollars!! HAS ANYONE EVER CALLED THIS DEBT COMPANY BACK? SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF TROUBLE AND TIME TO GET $300.00 DOLLARS BACK!!

Mark Brown keeps calling my cell & work number (blocking his # on both) saying that he is a PI and that I need to call him back. Gives the 877-495-3767 number to call & nothing else. Calls at least once a week. Very annoying.

I received a restricted phone call on Monday August 22nd from a Rob Fox who also said he was a Private Investigator and has sealed documents with a case number.  State I needed to call 1-877-495-3767 within 24 hours or I would receive a summons for court.  I didnt call this number.  Then on Friday the 26th, while my child was in surgery my phone rang again and it was Mr. Fox, saying the company said I have not contacted them and I need to do so within the next day.  He was very rude this time!!!  I obviously had more important things on my mind at the time.  He then called a left a message for me today, again at the hospital with my son and then after leaving a message called a friend of mind and told her she needed to get information to me.  If it was so imperative to get in contact with the 877-495-3767 number on Monday, why is he still calling me a week later.  Has anyone actually called this number?  I called and got a recording.  Its for a Johnson Walker Group or Firm.

David Connor Private Investigator called me saying that he was a PI from "Picaso County?" (I think he mean't Pasco). Anyway he stated he needed to serve me and that he couldn't locate me. Wait a minute? If you have my phone number to my Job... Shouldn't you have the address too? Not to hard to look up on the internet. People get served at work all the time. I believe it's a debt collector trying to scare me into payment.

i did had an ana Gole saying almost the same that she was a private invest callling from outside ca and that i need it to call this # 877 495 3767 otherwise they will serve me.  I call the # an it suppost to be a dept collector they buy old accounts and take you to court if you dont pay them aleast 500 by the end of the week.  if they want to serve you they dont need to let u know by court they will just do it not warm you about it...   But i dont know if is a scam or not

My husband got a call today from a restricted caller and this guy said his name was Mr. David Connor and he is a private investigator from outside our county. Said he has sealed documents attached to my husbands name and social security number that he is being summoned. Didn't say summoned to what. Gave me this number ((877-495-3767)) and a claim number said to call them for m ore information. Me being his wife if I have his SS# they should be able to give me some information on this matter. I asked what it was about he said "like I said it is sealed you need to call this number". Told me he is sorry for being the bearer of bad news and he hopes we get this matter cleared up soon.

and it says this number belongs to Level 3 communications which is a cable company in a town near where we live...

Needless to say we wont be calling back but am sure we will be getting more calls from this number as everyone else has...

I DID TO... HE USED BILL NELSON WHEN HE CALLED ME. I DID A LITTLE  WORK AND FOUND OUT IT IS A DEBT COLLECTOR.  I WORK FOR THE COUNTY THE SAID THEY FILED IN SO THEY KNOW WHERE TO FINE ME... I DID NOT CALL BACK

I received a message on my work voice mail from a Mark Brown who states he is a Private Investigator outside of Cleveland, OH.  He says I received a summons to serve to me to appear in court, but that the supposed suing party asked that I be contacted first by him.  I'm supposed to call 1-877-495-3767 and give him more information, etc.

Has anyone ever received such a call?  He also left me a Docketing Case number I'm supposed to refer to.
