I just recieved a call from this number claiming to be Time Warner, and said I had called them which I immediately knew was FALSE. I googled the number while on the phone with him and found this website. I asked him if he was actually an employee of Time Warner, if Time Warner signed his paychecks and a third time I asked him to swear that he was not with Saveology and instead a Time Warner employee to which he again said yes. He was hesitant to answer my questions and hung up on me after answering the third question, did not come across as though he was being honest.....

This number is from Saveology.com, a third party seller of Comcast (and other company) services.

If you call back the same number, there is an option to put your phone# on their do-not-call list.  If this does not work, wait on the line and try to talk to an 'account specialist' to tell them how you feel!

This number has been calling me daily after I signed up Comcast thru a third party vendor called Saveology.

I had checked into changing up tv and internet services a few days ago, and decided that I had the best deal already.  (I called~ ATT, Verizon, Time Warner, Comcast.)  However,  I have been getting calls from this 800 number like crazy.  So, like most of you, I Googled it and found all of this info.  I called the number back and it said saveology too!  I put my number on the do not call list as well.  Thanks everybody.

Its Comcast, using a contractor, Saverology. Just call back, you'll get an automated response. After the voice says to hold on for an agent, PRESS 2. Enter your phone number, followed by the pound (#) symbol, and you'll be added to the Do Not Call List.

I just recieved a phone call from this number. The guy told me he was from Comcast Online, and that he wanted to set me up with Comcast services. When I told him I was already a Comcast customer he offered to find me cheaper service with another company. He kept pushing for my personal info, which he didn't get. I called Comcast and reported this phone call to them. I suggest if you get a similar phone call you do the same. This call is a SCAM!!!!

This caller is named Saverology and does offer "Triple play" they are a spin off from Time Warner etc etc...and I would be careful.....I called them back....from reported number If you call back..listen to the ending...you will be prompted to have your number removed....

I called the number BACK AND IT WAS COMCAST.    PRESS 2 is an option to be put on Comcast's DO NOT CALL LIST.  I pressed 2.  Hopefully it will END the HANG UP phone calls.

I got two calls on my cell phone from this number... first at 1:45 pm and another at 6:08 pm. I do NOT give my cell phone # out to anyone but family. I've had this number for at least 15 yrs, so this isn't a case of someone else's old number being used. I didn't bother to return the call. I haven't used this number for any services or anything else so I haven't any intention or returning the call.

Got 2 calls from this #, they said they were from Cox & wanted my address again to check if they service my area, I called Cox yesterday for internet pricing, they don't service my area & haven't ever, I was just calling to double-check if anything's changed.  I told them I wasn't comfortable w/that b/c we covered that already, they were rude & I told them I wasn't interested.  Everyone was Indian - guess selling our #'s is good side $$ for the Cox indian employee I talked to.  :)

 I recently needed to find a Comcast number, typed it into Google, and the "number" for Comcast came up.  I tried to verify my recent order and he told me he couldn't find it.  Perplexed, I started setting up another order.  At some point after pitching me several deals on mortgages and/or security systems, he revealed he must call Comcast to verify the order.  I said "What? You're not Comcast?".  Turns out when I got Comcast, they found my previous order.  Now I am getting email and phone spammed by this number.

I received this call after inquiring about cable service. I asked them upon inquiry to make certain that I did not receive any types of calls back to my number. I think it is Charter. When I called back it did not connect and I only receive silence.

so, i actually gave these people my credit card number because after i asked them 12 times if they were actually TWC, they continually said yes.  how stupid am i!?  did anyone else do this?  how am i going to get them to lose that info?

i'm so frustrated and am about to go nuts.

Got a call tonight - next business day after signing up for Comcast Cable.  Watch out!  They begin fishing for info immediately.  They got the installation address from us (gosh we're not quick as we used to be) and luckily not the order number since it was not handy.  then we just asked to have the install date moved up and she said we had to call a different number.  I registered that number with this site.  Don't think it was really Comcast.  they fished for address info and called our cell number we called to order the service and not the home number we provided for the record.
