Got the same message today.  Went online and found this site which stated a lot of other people got the same message from ROX Sports Promotions.  I'm so curious to find out what is in the box???
I never called them back.

What's the scam?

Received a message to call about a priority package delivery.  I needed to call to okay the delivery.  No name was given for a contact, Just the phone number.  I called and was told my call was important, please wait.  I hung up.

My poor trusting husband who is now banned from returning phone calls thought this was a legit delivery I was waiting for and called this woman back.  She had our address (guess a search of our phone number makes that pretty easy to get and it's a business line).  She was sending out our box of "soap" -- he told her we didn't order any soap.   She says "well, it's the box I was going to deliver in person but I can't get by your place til June" and she insisted it was being sent.  Hubby said "don't send me anything I'm not paying for it" and she says "you'll have to pay me in June when I stop by" and he says "no, I won't pay you for anything then or now so don't send it".  We'll probably get a box of soap...who knows...why don't these people just get a real fricking job!

Ditto; these folks got my direct line at my office and as an avid weekend warrior I almost knee jerked reacted and called but thought a quick check would be warranted. Put your number on the state telemarketers block list. If you get another one of these calls report it. A couple of hefty fines might persuade them to try a different tactic.

Start calling these idiots and prank them.  I've made about 20 calls so far today.  I'm pretty sure that they have to pay whenever someone calls on their 888 number.  I usually just call and put the phone on mute.  I am thinking about talking some gibberish or maybe Spanish.  I think we should waste their time just like they waste ours.

Same thing.  They have been leaving a message on my voicemail at work frequently.  I have never called them back and after reading the above posts will take action to have the calls blocked if possible.

Hey does any one know what is in the package?

I also received a call from Vanessa Martin and googled the name SKT sports. Thanks to this site i am not planning on calling them back. Unless of coarse I can think of some who deserves their attention.

I love this webite, it saves so much time and heaartache. I got a call (to my office phone) from a Vanessa Martin from STK sprots promotions who said that I have a package just like everyone else. Wanted me to call 888-480-6781. After reading this i am not calling it back.

Same exact thing as reported above.  Received a voice mail from STK Sports Promotions to return a call to 888-480-6781.  Message said they had a priority overnight package and needed to talk to us about its release.  Called the number back and got someone saying they were with RCS Sports Division.  Lots and lots of loud voices in the background like most other cold-call sweatshops.  Didn't go any further with them.  Didn't read this blog first.... really love Dave Lavintro's idea about giving it to the ex-wife's name and address.....have to remember that one!

Same thing happened to me.  After googling this number, I am not calling them back.

Same thing happened to me, but I took it one step farther, and sent the package to my ex wife.

Same as everyone else.  They called my office with a blocked number.

Same thing happened to me....I stopped when she began to ask for my address.  

When I asked if I had ordered this package she said no.  When I asked if someone else ordered this package she said "no, we are giving you this package".  At that point I told her I wasn't interested and hung up.  What the heck do these people think we are?

Got voicemail message from Tracy James - said she was from STK Sports Promotions and she had a Priority Overnite package that she needed to talk to me about to release. I called back - got someone else who said they were from RCS Sports Division and they didn't know anything about STK Sports Promotions. She only knew that there was a priority package that needed to go out and she needed my name and phone number to access my file and release the package. She wouldn't give any info about RCS and did not know what was in the package. I ended the call.
