They left a voicemail that said it was a collections department of my local hospital. They left a different call back number.

Got the same call from Dallas Larson today. She is now apparently with the promotional department of American Broadcasting Center. Her voice message wanted me to call 888-220-0925

Yes, I got the call from 8775003990 in IA and it was from Mary Kennedy and it was a 7/8 night cruise with a free flight from the nearest international airport. Nothing about going anywhere or giving anything over the phone. obviously its a scam, but i don't know where you're supposed to "get your free tickets".

Call received on cell phone. Didn't answer and message was left. The woman who left the message sounded drunk???? What a joke. People who try to pull this crap are scum!

I got the call here in Iowa, the 7 day cruise and airfare... Mary Kennedy was the callers name problem is, if I won something that big and entered a contest... wouldn't you know my name? hmm... (SCAM!) Love ya Google!

I live in Indianapolis and got the call as well so this company sure is making the rounds...

i got a post card in the mail with my name on it 3 different places.  it's almost definately a scam, nothings REALLY free these days.  i might call the number anyway though, just in case but i'm really skeptic.

I am now disappointed.  I was really looking forward to a free cruise.  I cannot figure out why GOD waisted the gift of life on these scum bags.  When I retire I think I am going to hunt telemarketers.  When I catch them, I could harvest their organs and donate them to people worthy of having the gift of life.  I really hate telemarketers.  Can't you people find other employment?  I would bite down on a metal file and let someone rip it out of my teeth before I even thought I could stomach being a telemarketer.

Received same call from Ann Callahan. Agree that unless they can name who gave them the entry then this is some kind of scam.

Same thing today on my MA cell.  877 500 3990.  Free cruise.  I'm still reeling in shock that I won!  Really though, irritating.

Yup...got the call just now...came through as "PRIVATE NUMBER" on Verizon...same B.S., some family member entered a sweepstakes a year ago and won a vacation, blah blah blah.  Voice says "No timeshare presentation, etc."  Says to call 877-500-3990 within 24hrs.  Sure thing buddy...let me get my suntan lotion and swerve on and I'll be right down.

Received a call tonight from this number and thanks to this site I will not be calling back to receive my FREE cruise :) From either Carnival or Royal Carribbean

I have a voice mail. They called with an Unknown ID so I let it go to voice mail. I got offered a cruise, airfare if I called within 48 hours and I was told not a time share no pressure or sales. I supposedly filled out some entry a year ago at one of their events. Call above # if I wanted airfares and 7 night 8 day cruise for 2 adults. And I am in Massachusetts.

So you can find this site but you are somehow unable to read all the posts from the other suckers who endured this scam?

I got this call last night as well. The phone number was blocked, but the excitable Ann Callahan said the company was America West. I called back today just to hear them out. The recording said I needed to go to 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 4900, Woburn, MA to pick up my package. Has anyone actually gone?

As the rest of you I also recieved a call from the "funseekers" haha. So after reading the post about the texas case, I called back and pretended to be one of the attorneys from a neighboring firm in the Massachusetts area.I also left my phone number. Guessing I'm no better than them, they called back within an instant. Lets just say I got the best of this scammer! Hey don't be a victim here. Mess with them back. If every one they called gave them a taste of their own medicine, might deter some of their actions. Especialy if you mention the Texas law suit. Have a wonderful day!

Same!! Number came in as blocked. they left a voicemai.. saying i needed to provide proof that i live with my significant other, between 30 and 70, and have a combined income of at least $50,000. thank goodness for this site!

Same here, came in on my company provided cell phone here in MASS.  Came up as call blocked, I didn't answer it, they left a message with the same info as mentioned above.

Yep, same number, same call. My call came in on a company provided cell phone. I know it's not listed so it's anyone's guess how they got it. (There was certainly no entry form filled out anywhere.) I'm not buying anything so I'm wondering if it's worth it to go and hear them out.

I got the same phone call as everyone else. I reported this to the FTC and I suggest the next people to get the phone call should too. go to ftc.gov, find the contact info and get the number. Telemarketers taking surveys are one thing but fake scam prizes isnt cool

Today received the same call as above from an excited Ann Callihan.  7 night/8 day caribbean cruise with rt airfare for two.  supposedly 24 hrs to call back 877-500-3990 to claim.   super scam alert!

I got it today... I can't imagine that, if I really won something, it would be a recorded message.

How does one file a complaint re: scams like these?

Call and said that we entered a contest last year, that we won two round trip tickets to Florida and two passenger 7 day Canavial Cruiseline.  SCAM!

Carnival Cruise line is the worst in the industry. Even if they PAID me to go on the scammy cruises, I wouldn't. Food sucks and the accommodations are sub-standard. Carnival also bought Costa Cruise line with unreliable engines and a captain who navigates into rocks.
