i talked to some dude who called himself mr. chicks. he said something about staying at my house for a college project, and he wouldn't take "no" for an answer. he asked me if i was married and had any daughters. this guy is freakin cray. ignore this number.

I am in total shock as I received the same exact phone call and was scared to death as they started the phone call by stating that this is a call from the federal government and their records show that I am in violation of Federal law and could be punished or fined,and I have to pay a mandatory fee of 159.00 to get the posters updated every time the law changes.
I just started my business and I got so frightened thinking that already I am in trouble with the government. When the person asked for my CC info I replied that I don't give my CC info over the phone so she told me that this is the only way to comply with the law and there is no other option.
It totally did not make sense to me so I asked her if every business has to pay this fee and her answer was yes.
Looking over my cc charges I see that they charged me $268.00 .
Does anybody know if such a charge can be disputed?

to further aid your report, you can go to www.whitepages.com or www.yellowpages.com and do a reverse address search. i was able to do this with some other addresses and was able to find the person or business that was there.

this company calls my cell phone at all hours  unsolicited

It seems to continue, yet now its 4 different #s. 100% sure the same people some from utah and some from new jersey. Seen maps of where they are. All are in condo unit areas, all are Cell Phones. Its a shame they dont have better things to do with there time. Scammers should be a felony. Aloha

i get around 6 calls daily from this number for the last 6 months... damn! somebody obviosuly has nothing to do!

I signed up for some job search web site and it asked for a name, phone and email. Unfortunately the site wanted me to install a toolbar after going through several pages of "I'm not interested" adds for colleges and online degrees. Already getting spam emails from them and phone calls too. have to tell them I'm already a graduate of a trade school so I don't need to learn how to be a RN.lol More of the same from 925-808-7569

seems to be an online degree search place when I called the number back.

They called and I let it roll to voicemail because I did not recognize the number. I called it back and the lady that answered said it was something called "Search for Degrees". I assume it is a place that helps you get a degree??!! I hung up! I'll be placing this number in my list of calls that are blocked!

I get a call from this number a least once a week.  I don't answer call from numbers I do not know, so I haven't answered.

I just had a phone call from 877-502-6442 on my cell the ladie would not identify her self so i hung up and called back from a land line i still could not unterstand what they said

I received a call from 877-502-6442 and when I answered I then heard a recording stating that I had been selected for a $40.00 gift card and that I must call another number to claim the card.  The number given started with an 855 area code.  I did call the 877-502-6442 number back and a male casually answered the phone.  Just thought I would post since I had a different encounter with this number.

Just got a call from 877-502-6442 today-I didn't answer-but instead googled the # and walah found this site with many others. I also put my # on an ipad (apple) advertisement this a.m.

i called back and a woman answered. apparently they have some type of caller id as she told me they were calling for my son (she gave me his name) as he'd signed up to receive insformation from them on searchfordegrees.com.

I keep getting calls from this # and they almost everytime hang up when I answer. the few times they didn't hang up on me they asked for someone I don't know. I have asked them 5 times now to stop calling my #. I have'nt stopped.

I just got a call from this number and when I called them back they knew my name. I have a prepaid trac phone and thought this was strange. So I googled the number and got this thread. Crazy. I am thinking they got my information I did on a face book quiz "which criminal minds agent are you?" You had to type in your number to get results I never got. thanks for this post. I think I will call them back and mess with their heads. LOL. I am getting on facebook and reporting this page also.

Keep calling over and over, I just let the answering machine pick up so they hang up..we are on the do not call list so I filed several complaints.

I'm tired of these calls! Reporting them and blocking the number.

several calls...all anyone says is..."hello, hello, hello, then hangs up.

I got three calls in 3 days. I don't answer, and hope they will go away. I've been getting a slew of calls from numbers across the country. I'm on the federal do-not-call list for cell phones, but that doesn't seem to help.

RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM THIS PHONE # 8775026442 DIDN'T ANSWER IT AGAIN.

My 12 year old daughter received a call from 877-502-6442.  I called them and they said they were a college search firm wanting to give her information that she had requested.  I told them she hadn't requested any such information.  They asked if she was a minor, I said yes and they said she would be placed on their internal do not call list.  She said she registered for an IPad this morning.

Received a call from this number on my cell. I never answered it.

If you did not sign up for information from them then they are in fact committing a crime. Please report the business to your state's Attorney General as well as the US Attorney General. If you question how they obtained your information they hang up on you, very strange.

For 3 consecutive days the same person (an unwanted telemarketer) has called my phone!
