Called the FTC, there is an open investigation into Venture group already.

I have left a previous post on who these people really are. Leaving a message on their system will get you NOWHERE except that they will keep calling you! You have to call the FTC and make a complaint. You can also do what I did and when I answered the phone I started to get smart with them and ask them questions. I talked to a manager and finally called him a, '' piece of S**T ''and then he hung up on me since I had sworn at him. I called him out though telling him I knew he was lying about working for Frontier..asked him to give me my account info and when he read something back to me that was completely wrong I laughed at him. After this, I have never heard from them again!!! This was after 2 full months of getting phone calls from them twice a day. The compnay is Venture group in North Carolina. You call the FTC. I have already gone through this whole process..even calling my local police department and a ton of calls to Frontier. We were able to track down the caller and it is the company Venture group that is calling. All you have to do is call the FTC and there is already a case open on this company. The more complaints the better!!!

We constantly receive phone calls only to be hung up immediately, the number is 1-877-503-7661. We've left plenty of messages telling them to quit calling us, and they still call.

I'm so tired of having to drop what I'm doing just to answer the phone only to be hung on!! I've left 6 messages so far asking them to remove us from a call list. I'm always sent straight to a voicemail, how frustrating!!!!!! We are a business that doesn't have time to be bothered by hang up calls! What do I do?

This company has been calling my employer for the past month.  I've either put them through to someone's voicemail or the last couple of times I've tried to ask them to quit calling.  They called again today claiming they were Frontier.  I said "I realize this is a scam, quit calling here."  He was trying to argue with me saying it wasn't as I was hanging up!  I am operating anywhere between 10 and 20 lines on a switchboard and was experiencing high call volume.  I do not have time for this nonsense!

They keep calling, both our business phone lines but always hang up.

I started getting the same call from then, saying they were from Frontier.  I figured out quickly that
this was not Frontier but another attempt to slam.  I just went out and purchased a phone that allows you to block up to 20 phone numbers.  It also allows you to block  all unknown, or private numbers that
come up on caller ID with no phone number only unknown or private. The phone was from Radio Shack and was around $100.00 well worth the investment.

THIS IS A SLAMMING SCAM. THEY ARE NOT YOUR LOCAL TELEPHONE COMPANY. THE COMPANY NAME IS VENTURE GROUP. THE CONTACT NUMBER IS (704)676-0160. THE ADDRESS IS 2520 Whitehall Park Dr. Suite 100 Charlotte, NC 28273. THE CIO IS JIM PRICE. THEY HAVE POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND HARRASS PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE FROM YOUR CURRENT TELEPHONE PROVIDER. CALL THE FTC IF THEY CONTINUE TO BOTHER YOU. THEY WILL GET FINED!!!!

They are calling from North Carolina and not Frontier..

Call every single day..twice a day around the same time for a month and a half!!!!!!!! I have left messages with them and when I do pick up the phone they hang up. I called my local police department today after getting fed up and being told that's what I neede to do from the AG's off ice and Fronteir. Ironically today at their second call time of 12:15 when I answered there actually was someone on the other line. Holy Sh@#. I told the woman that I have contacted the police as my phone company could not block this call from coming to my home and that the police will be taking care of this situation from here out. Lame that it had to get to this point but I am tired of getting woken up from these people.

The phone rings in every single day with this number... always nobody on the other end.  EVERY DAY.  Sick of it.

This company pretended to be my telephone provider offering a better plan.    Called my telephone provider and was told I never received a call from them.

These people are evil!!! I have paper work from my AGs office I will persue a suit against them. I told them to stop calling me over 20 times and yelled @ frontier as well so I have no choice but to sue them for harassment.

I have left 4-5 messages telling them to stop calling me and they still keep calling me.

I receive regular calls from this number.  When I answer the phone they hang up.  I have called back and the voice recording says "You have reached Small business solutions" and give further details to leave name and number and the "name of the agent you are working with".  I left a message for someone in management to call me, but never received a return call.

Called THREE times, slimy, persistent and obviously misrepresenting my business telephone company. Considering calling to switch carriers should they continue to provide our information to third parties.

Represented themselves as Frontier, offered great package and enough details to sound quite convincing. Still, he was a bit slimy and not completely believable.  Turned out to be totally bogus.

877-503-7661 this number claimed to be our local phone service wanting to get us the best possible rate.  Never gave any information, told them I didn't believe they were my carrier, hung up and called my local carrier, requested that no unauthorized transfer of carriers be made to our account.  Our account has been notated we have been called "slamming" by another company, do not switch.

This is a number for a company that resells local phone service.  It is (NOT) your local phone company but a company who is pretending to be in order to change your service from your current provider.  I suggest you call your local phone company and report the information to your representative.  Do not call the number or give this company authorization to change anything about your service
