I get this too. These companies that seem to be able to decide what you need are totally useless, ...parasites so to speak. They are never around too long, although some more pitifully hang on for quite some time. It's a bad joke call and hangup. (categorically speaking)

this number calls everyday, but no one is ever on the other end. If anyone knows how to get them to stop please post.

It is a company called Retail Merchandiser. They are calling to get people to sign up to get a free magazine subscription. My personal phone line at work was added to their system, I've told them to remove it permenantely. They did have the company main phone line in there as well, but kept calling me for everyone.

When I called the number back I was put on hold and after a few minutes disconnected. Don't know what it was.
