they are now operating from 1-888-875-7659. They are also calling with a so called private investigator with the number of 310-220-0197, if you call the number its not accepting calls at this time. leaves to believe its a robot call or number they use to try and scare people.

I am very curious if you have gotten any additional info. This company has called me a few times and I spoke to one rep this morning. they left a message on my vm and one of my friends. however the number the "investigator" called us from just 30 min before i returned the call, is now disconnected or out of service. So that brings up suspicions. I just think that they should not be posing as a legal time and acting like they will serve me paperwork if they are a collecting agency they are misrepresenting themselves.

While I agree with you on the grounds we should ahve paid our bills on time.. there is also a diff from doing their job to deceiving and threatening the public. thats where they lose my support.

James Kielhl harassing and his co workers harassing me with inconvenient phone calls at my work and cell. I told them that by law the cannot do that. And they do not stop. In BBB webside they have 67 complains. I read the law 805 communication in connection with debt collection and the 806 harassment or abuse . And they do not stop. I call BBB and they told me to ask they the business address and they do not give it to me. I told they stop because i never authorized him or Goldstein and Associated, LLC to contact me. they just called me today as a matter of fact! My sister just finished telling me that they can't just call me and tell me i owe a debt and so on....I have been getting tons of calls and from different places and when i tell them i need verification of the debt they dont send me anything. Instead they tell me that they are sending someone out to my place of residence or work and that they will have me served. thank you for this.....seeing this makes me feel a bit better.

You sound like one of the jerks that works for this company.  I have NO debts, my bills are always paid on time and they keep calling.  Wont even tell me what the debt is for!  (THERE IS NO DEBT) I'll be seeking a legal resolution to make them stop and make them pay.  People in this country have enough to worry about with out having to deal with bottom dwelling criminals who I hope one day get bent over in prison!

They now use the number 855-656-6721 and portray themselves as a private investigator.  They actually called my work and left a message for my boss telling him they had a claim and were coming up to my work and wanted state police to escort them to serve me.  ????

And it sounds like their claims are completely full of it.  Here's another link for filing reports with also. How can we file complaint if we don't even have any information on Goldstein and Associates?

These people call me now a few times a day. I requested written notice of what I am being called about and they told me they have sent me numerous mail. I have not gotten anything from Goldstein and Associates. They argue on the phone and they are so unprofessional I had to hang up on them because they wouldn't provide me with any information. They actually screamed at me over the phone. How can I stop Goldstein and Associates from harrasing me? How and where do I need to file the complaint? Know their name but address? Their phone numbers are different every time they call.

This company has called me over 7 times this week. No explanation of anything besides the information about mediation hearing. Even if they are collecting debt this practice is illegal. I have no documentation from them explaining what I am being harassed about.

Thank for this information I was very suspicious about these calls as it was never explained to me what this was about except mediation hearing was in place for me. Is this a scam? I don't have an attorney on this yet but is there anything I can do first?

Western Sky is a title loan or a loan provider for folks that do not have a good credit..

I received call from a local number leaving threatening message 3 days in a row now from a man named Daniel baker claiming I have to call the mediation center at Goldstein and associates phone number 877-527-9594 immediately or else he is on his way to serve me at address xxxxx which I never lived at.  I call number back that he calls from and it is unable to go through so then called the toll free number in which a supervisor named Gloria says I either pay them 3k now or they will show up at my work and I don't even work I told her so she said either pay it or our locator will serve you at that wrong address. I told her that's not my address would you like correct address or to meet me at my local police department so I may be served since they claim I am being sued by western sky which I have no knowledge of to owe them anything. She says no I'm being uncooperating and this call will be forwarded to the courts and I will be charged for fraud if I don't pay right now I asked what bank did this loan go through and where are ther located and she said thats it I don't have chance to mediate and they will be coming for me and hung up. Does anyone know anything about this western sky ? I looked it up and it says no longer in business.

I have received calls from family members and my business as well.  That I am being investigated for fraud.  Mind you, I pay all my bills and am trying to figure out who these people are.  Well after finding this site I called them back, they refuse to tell me who they are or who they are "representing".  I threatened them that next contact and slander (fraud) against my name I will contact a lawyer immediately.  She told me HONEY then you do that and hung up on me AGAIN!  (4th time).  So, they are not even willing to tell me who they are because I called their bluff.

For those of you who say get a job etc.... I HOPE this does not happen to you, because I work full time and pay my bills, don't judge!

I have been Harassed by Goldberg and Associates.  They have gotten all the way to my human resource department.  I spoke to a Scott the first call in.  He advised me that they were going to serve me papers on my job with my supervisor.  They spoke to me very unprofessional after calling my place of employement every day . A Gloria James told me that they were coming to my job to serve me papers.  I told them not to contact my employer, friends and me at my job.  They hung up on me 3 times.  Are you serious.  After harassing me every day.  They hang up on me?  How can I sue them?  They are now running off a new number 866-276-1536.

This company is a SCAM. How I know because I know some people who actually worked for this POS company and when we realized what going on the "OWNER" let them go. The Owners of this "company" Name is Jason Bradley and his wife Debra Ryhba- Bradley. He uses several companies including ROSEN and Keller, Goldstein and A**, Friedman and A** and Persolvo Group. There actual adress is 30 E Adams St Chicago IL 60603 Suite 201 the number is 3122088287. They use illegal tactics to collect debts report them if they call you.

I just had a call from them and they left a voice mail and they didn't know that my voice mail records the message just like a text message. And then the woman says she will settle for less, almost nothing and I say that's a big difference and I told her I was not working and she said I will send it to the county. That's what made me Google the business.

Legit collectors per section 809 of the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf *must* tell you at initial contact, or send you paperwork within 5 days of initial contact, the following:
1. $amount of debt,
2. name of the current creditor (which may differ from the original creditor who might have sold your debt),
3. a statement that that debt will be assumed to be valid unless you dispute in writing within 30 days,
4. a statement that that if you do dispute in writing within 30 days, the collector must mail you written verification of the debt,
5. a statement that if you ask the collector in writing within 30 days, the collector must send you the name and address of the original creditor if it's different from the current creditor.
If you don't get the 5 disclosures, orally or in writing (you do not have to ask for them, the FDCPA requires collectors to provide them), treat the collector like you would any SCAMMER.
Has the statute of limitations for your state http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/SOL-by-State.html expired on your debt? If expired, don't pay.
Collectors generally have to be licensed by your state to practise (collect debt) in your state and you can find out by calling your state Attorney Generals Office. Ask if a license is required and does this collector have one. If not licensed, don't pay and file a complaint.
