Complete scam - had me on the phone for 1 hour & a half saying they would work with my bank (Chase) to lower my interest rate on my high balance CC.  they never said i would be charged anything - and that they got their $$ from the money i was saving in interest - (bunch of double talk and smoke and mirrors balony)  only when they turned me over to person # 3 who was going to record me did they say they were going to charge my card $790. I immediately said NO that's not what you said - 15 minutes later a "counselor" called, she informed me that Chase was the hardest to work with in re: to lowering interest rates, but she could counsel me on how to do it myself. I said NO, REVERSE THIS CHARGE. That was not at all what was sold or told to me for an hour and a half by 2 different people. She said ok...she'd look into having someone call me to fix this.   I called chase rejecting the charge.  I've called the company 2 more times and have been told that they would refund the charge.....but they have not. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! I'm now also reporting this to the Attorney General in Calif. and have also cancelled my card per Chase Bank recommendation.

I'm not sure of the name of the company as they were calling for a person that used to have my phone number.  I told them I am not the person they seek and that this is no longer their number.  This man was abrasive with me when I said I wasn't the person.  I explained this is my new number and just recently moved to the town and was given this number as my new number and whoever they are in search of isn't me and if they or any number associated with them calls my number again they will have a harassment suit on their hands because I am not that person.  He apologized and said he would remove the number.   I'm quite sure the calls will continue.  I'm sure I will start recording conversations and I don't care if you know I am recording or not.  You call my home and I tell you I am not that person you better understand I'm not that person.  I don't run from my debts.  I pay my bills.

Jason Carter called. He butted in on the call while I was talking to a "new" rep, who was apparently backed into a corner by my questions. Gave me his name, CSG name, the number 877-511-4832 (which leads to a vm citing IMS).
After 5 mins of NOT answering any questions, I told him I'd call him back immediately. After checking internet, called him, knowing it was a scam, but went to vm.

SOME OF MY QUESTIONS WHICH HE TALK AROUND IN CIRCLES:
"Which credit card are you referring to?"
Answer: All of them. (What kind of bull---?)
"Why do you want to check if I still 'qualify' for you to lower my interest rate - just lower it and be done with it! You just said you can SEE my info."
Answer: We only have 'soft' info on you, we need you to verify the card you feel is in best standing. (RED FLAG.)
"I'm waiting for you to get to the point"
Their answer to this is: I'm getting to the point, but I need to verify that you still qualify. (Around in circles we go.)

PURE B***S***. If you're busy, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY, telling them you are going to report them to the police and the BBB. If you've got time on your hands, run them around the block a little while giving out NO information - because doing so means it cuts into their productivity time, they can make less calls to people to continue their scam if they're stuck on the phone with someone who will simply WASTE their time. Completing less calls per day means less income. The sooner we can drive these companies / hackers/ scammers / scum-lowlifes out of business, the better.

Mark Battle called to tell me they sent me mail that I might have thought was junk mail and that due to my excellent credit payments (LOL - not quite right), he could have my interest rates lowered.  Not going to answer his questions or give out any information about my credit cards.  I asked him to re mail everything and he put me on hold so I hung up and looked up this company, found this site with his number.  He called back twice but left no message.

I just received a call from CSG Financial regarding interest rate reduction. The name given was Stephanie Joseph, ID#541 at 877-511-4832. The number I was called from was 404-424-8402. I hung up. I was very resistant to the whole idea and didn't want to give out personal and/or financial information. I checked with my financial institution and they said it was a scam call.

I received a phone call today from "Mike Oliver". Mr. Oliver gave me all of the promises that I've seen others post here and pressured me to try and stay on the phone, I told him I had urgent business to attend to and I'd get back in touch with him. After reading everything posted and seeing "Jessica" monitor and reply to the complaints, I have no doubt that this is a SCAM.  There must be a legal loophole that allows them to stay in business legally because it is anything but legitimate. Thanks for all of the posts and information, you have all saved a lot of people from being swindled.

WELL LET ME START THIS BY SAYING I WORKED FOR CSG (COMMON SENSE GROUP) FOR LESS THAN A WEEK. FIRST OF ALL LET ME STATE THIS AND I AM HOPING SOMEONE OUT THERE PERSUES THIS BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST THERE ISNT ANY BACKGROUND CHECK ON ANY EMPLOYEES AT ALL, SECOND THERE IS ONE DAY OF TRAINING AND THEN WE WERE PUT ON THE PHONE TO CALL YOU, YES YOU READING THIS. LITERALLY AFTER ABOUT 5 HOURS OF LEARNING A SCRIPT WE ARE PUT IN FRONT OF YOUR INFORMATION FOR EXAMPLE, CREDIT SCORE, CREDIT CARD BALANCE, ADDRESS, NAME, NUMBER ETC.... (AGAIN NO BACKGROUND CHECK AT ALL) THE REASON SOME OF YOU GET A CALL WITH NO ONE ON THE LINE IS BECAUSE OF THE DIALER, IT DIALS LIKE 10 NUMBERS AT ONE TIME AND WHOME EVER ANSWERS FIRST GETS TO HEAR THE CRAZY PITCH ABOUT CONSOLIDATING YOUR CREDIT CARD DEBT. THE INFORMATION YOU WILL GET IS BASIC INFORMATION YOU CAN READ UP ON FOR FREE AND CONTACT YOUR OWN CREDIT CARD COMPANIES AND SIMPLY ASK FOR A LOWER RATE. BUT ONCE OU ARE INTERESTED IN THE PROGRAM AND AGREE, THE FEE'S ARE BASED ON YOUR AVAILABLE AMOUNT ON HOWEVER MANY CARDS YOU LET THEM CHECK TO SEE WHAT THE BALANCE IS. SO FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU ONLY HAVE SAY $800 AVAILABLE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A SMALL AMOUNT, $2500 AVAILABLE THEN THEY ARE GOING TO HIT YOU UPSIDE YOUR HEAD. THERE WAS A STORY OF A PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE THAT COPIED SOMEONES INFO AND WENT WILD SHOPPING, IM SURE ITS STILL HAPPENING. BY THE WAY THE ADDRESS WHEN YOU START FILING YOUR COMPLAINT IS 562 Wylie rd. Marietta GA 30060 THE TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 404-424-8400, 404-424-8402 jESSICA WHICH IS THE TRAINER PRIDERS HERSELF ON BEING BORN IN A CALL CENTER BUT RUNS ONE OF THE WORST CALL CENTERS IVE EVER STEPPED FOOT IN. IF YOU GO TO CRAIGSLIST ATLANTA AND PUT THE NUMBERS ABOVE IN THE SEARCH PORTION YOU WILL SEE THE ADS THEY PLACE TO ROTATE ABOUT 10 PEOPLE EVERY TWO WEEKS BECAUSE ITS SOME BULL S***. SO IF YOU ARE THE LUCKY ONE WHO JUST HUNG UP OR SAID NO CONGRATS PASS THIS ON, IF YOU GAVE YOUR INFORMATION YOU JUST GOT SWENDLED. I WILL CHECK THIS EVERY SO OFTEN TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS BUT JUST HAD TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST .

BEWARE - I recieved a call from a Shaun Williams from CSG asking the same questions (lowering high interest rate credit cards). She seemed nice and had a lengthy conversation until I told her I would not give out any acct# or personal information, after discussing my balances (stupid me). She pressed me pretty hard until I told her there was no way I would give her the information until I checked into her company - She then put me through to her supervisor, James Bruce, who grilled me some more. I told him the same thing and asked for Shauns's extension if in fact they were a reputable company, I would then call her back. James said just to call the number back and ask for Shaun - I called and recieved a recording that was for IMS - National Financial Solutions & what sounded like SMG Financial - " to leave a message and someone will return your call ." Didn't say anything about CSG - whatever that is. If you guy's at whatever acronym(s) you represent are ligitamate - might want to have a website - and/or a number  - and a customer service rep ext. - and an address. Quacks like a duck...must be one...that can steal your wallet. E-mailing AG office - I will find out what state you are doing business in CSG,IMS,NFS - If you are a scam, I will shut you down.

You know its a scam and a ripoff when you call this # and you get a voice mail to leave your name and number, and this during working hours.  Reputable companies have a receptionist and/or voice mail prompts to direct your call.  Scam companies have a pre-recorded "we'll call you back" message.  DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I recd a call today from this number and the rep said his name was Kenny Green (from CSG Financial) and they wanted to help me reduce my credit debt by getting my interest rates lowered.  Lots of background noise so I was pretty sure he worked for a telemarketer.  Kenny said the service would not cost me anything out of my pocket and the company makes their money from the savings they get for me.  Kind of vague, don't you think?  When I pressed him with questions I was immediately transferred to someone else who insisted I give them my credit card # so they could contact that company and get my interest rate reduced right away.  When I refused and said I wanted to check the company out before giving my credit card number over the phone, the "supervisor" gave me all kinds of assurances that it was OK for me to give the number out because all credit cards are insured by the FDIC.  He asked me to get in front of a computer and he would "help" me check the company out.  I refused and he hung up.  Gotta be a scam. . . .

I have been calling your 877 number over and over again with no luck (not even an answering machine) talking to anyone.  I DO believe your company is a scam and I am reporting it. My number is on the do not call list because I don't like hearing all these sales pitches.  Your objective at the end of the day, is to line your pockets with the hard earned dollars from the victims you sucker in, not to help them get out of dept. if you or Jessica Freeman would answer that phone, I would get on your DNC list.  I should not have to go to all that trouble because I am already on the national registry.  I wish your all a BAD day and many more of the same,
thanks,

I received a call this morning from a company identifying themselves as CSG Financial and a contact phone number of 1-877-511-4832. They also knew some info about me of which I did not confirm or deny was correct. The original spokesperson was very pushy and talked over me a lot. I was put thru to a James Bruce - floor supervisor. He claimed they have been in business for 17 years. I explained I do not do business of financial matters on a single cold call phone call to my non-listed phone. I looked up the website they gave WWW.MYSENSEGROUP.COM and do not find them. Here is my concern bottom line. If this is a legitimate company providing a fair a legal service, then, they should make sure people can locate them by website and/or look them up under Better Business Bureau (which I could not find them there either). It is very odd not to find more legitimate information on a Company that claims to have been in service for 17 years. I suggest anyone receiving a phone call from any company - CHECK THEM OUT 1st - do no give any information!

I guess today was my day for this call.  The first lady, Tina was very polite trying to explain what they could offer to reduce interest % but when I started voicing concern about giving my cc # a floor supervisor got on the phone with HIGH PRESSURE and was very rude.  "Carisma" was the name I think she gave.  She was a fast talker and would not let me ask my questions and did not want to answer.  Insisted she was going to let the cc company know that I was not interested in reducing my interest.  I did get loud and asked her to listen to me and if she did not stop I was going to hang up.  Which I did!!  Within 5 minutes they called back and my  husband told them to take our name off their list.  Tried looking up IMS Financial Services and everything in Google looks like overseas companies.

Tried to get her to tell me what this was going to cost for their assistance and she was vague something about with the reduced interest rate that they would collect part of that which to me means that my cc gets another charge but she would not give a straight answer.

I received a call from IMS Financial Services asking for my husband and he was not here, so I took the call.  They didn't identify themselves at first, they just said something about a recent offer in the mail to lower an interest rate and I remembered getting such an offer from one of our credit cards, so I talked to them thinking they were with that credit card.  After hearing him talk for a few minutes, it occurred to me to ask if the lower rate would apply to current balances or future purchases.  He said it would apply to current balances.  Then I asked if that would actually nullify any promotional APR's on my current account, and he said no.  Then I asked what credit card this was in reference to, and that's when he started saying vague things like "we represent all of the bank cards" and "we deal with all the major banks".  That's when I asked for the name of his company and he reluctantly gave it to me.  After asking if this was a debt consolidation company, he said no, then I asked how they were affiliated with the banks and how could they get a lower interest rate, he never came out and really explained it but he did take the time to call me "sweetheart" in a derogatory way and why couldn't I understand what he was saying?  Then a "supervisor" broke into the call and continued to speak down to me as though I were stupid:  why did I keep asking the same question over and over?   Well, because you haven't answered my question!  At that point I hadn't given them any information about our accounts or anything, and I asked for their toll free number, which he gave:  1-877-511-4832.  I told him we are on the "Do Not Call" registry and he had the audacity to say "no you're not".  Googled the company, appears to be based overseas.  BEWARE!!

I also just received a call from a company IMS claiming they can lower my interest rates based on my good credit.  I was very upset they knew last four digits of my social, my age, address & information that was upsetting to me.  When I pressed them for information about them & why would I give them such information over the phone, they were vague & were getting annoyed.  This phone call was upsetting to me, I never give information on the phone unless it is my credit card company that I called.
Phone calls like this are in my opinion scams.  I redialed the number after letting them know I was going to investigate them on line, the number was disconnected, I recalled recording again # disconnected, I then called my phone company they could find no information on that number.  What they told me is sometimes a 2nd or 3rd party number that cannot be reached is used to make these calls, I Put a block on the number, but will not be surprised if a get a call from them again from another number.  I AGREE WITH YOU BEWARE, AND WANT TO TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN DO NOT GIVE YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU ON THE PHONE.

Forgot to mention that they claimed I had to take advantage of this offer for "help" by Monday, or all of my information would go back to the credit card companies.  We deal directly with our lenders.  The solicitors did most of the talking on the calls.

We have received many calls also where we say Hello, and no one says anything, so we hang up on all of those calls.  $1595 is a huge fee to charge for anything- you can always work with Consumer Credit Counseling, or Crown Financial, www.crown.org I think.  They both have very good reputations and very reasonable service fee for legitimate assistance in repairing your credit and handling debt.  Besides, lenders often WILL lower your interest rate if you let them know that you are looking into transferring your balance to a lower interest rate account.  They also often have "hardship" payment arrangements available, as someone else mentioned, which are a great option, and I think that those won't close your account or hurt your credit if I remember correctly.

BEWARE!  You were wise to look these guys up, and please post your experiences here to help others.  I wonder if Ms."Jessica Freeman" will reply to me too with more false rationalizations for these scam phone calls and poor phone skills by their "representatives"??  Can't wait- lol

These people called and had a lengthy conversation, claiming to have all of my account numbers and the last four digits of my Social Sec number.  They claimed to have sent us something in the mail too, which they have NOT, and I told them we weren't comfortable giving out information over the phone to a company we never heard of and that we did not contact ourselves.  The first woman claimed to be from the "Financial Service Qualification Department", and gave the name Mashunty Williams, (sorry if it's mis-spelled).  I ended the call.  Another woman, Dauna Harris supposedly, called back IMMEDIATELY and tried again, and made the same claims about who I was speaking with and that they were "trying to help us".  When I continued to say NO to giving them any information, they claimed that our information was "given" to them, and that "they aren't allowed to use it in any way except to help us".  I ended the call again.  And there never was a letter we received from them about their business or services.  What a load of B.S.  As to what they can do with any information they supposedly have of OURS, it better go into their damn shredder, and we are going to report them also.  Better Business Bureau, FBI, etc.

Definitely not legit, they don't even exist as far as we can tell when we searched for them on the internet.  BEWARE< BEWARE<BEWARE   Definitely fraudulent!   And why the hell would they be monitoring THIS web site and writing personal replies that are bogus to people here too, (complete with bad grammer, poor punctuation, wrong word usage (i.e. defiantly instead of definitely lol), if they are legit??  Stop calling people and pack your bags for jail you losers.
