A guy called me at work this week  said his name was Tim Olsen??? but never gave me the name of the company, and told me to call him immediately. At 877-514-9596 but the caller ID said 904-239-5886. Re: a check/wire fraud. I assume it was in connection for a payday loan. That was paid two years ago.
Anyway, as I am listening to his voice It was the same clown who called up over a year ago. This time he said his name was a Timonthy Orhman from a fictional company by the name of Brookshire Assest management Group. There # at the time was 877-727-7360 (I tried to call that # today and Guess what???
It is disconnected.

Aslo a bogus phone. I reported to all the agencies and a rep from the AG office told me to call . He said that the phone numbers are even bogus.There is no address or agency or legit phone number.Dont fall for their threats.

I get `calls from John Jones. He keeps threatening to have me served with papers and when I tell him to go ahead, that I will be glad to go to court and plead my case, he changes in mid stream. Please, Please, Please file complaints with BBB, FTC, and your states attorney generals office. These people are breaking the law whether you owe the debt or not. They cannot have you arrested, they cannot harrass you or use harrassing communication. They cannot call your place of employment like they threatened to do mine (I still have it all recorded and on voicemail). DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!! get their mailing address, send them a validation of debt letter (you can get one off the internet), verify the debt is even yours and the amount they say is correct. Do this with any creditor. Send it certified mail. If they dont respond in 30 days they cannot seek collection on that debt any longer. If they do work out your payments. But dont let these debt collectors intimidate or harrass you until you make sure they are legit!! People go through hard times, things come up. It happens. Dont let these people take you for granted. This is not a legitamate company and per my attorney there are a lot of these in NY so be weary!! They first called stating they were NDR group, then Northwestern Recovery Group. This number started calling me, saying they were going to file a civil suit in a different county then I live. the numbers nor the name of the company information is verifiable. I did an investation myself, all the names that you guys listed above in your complains are from recent obituary information. The guy calling me is named James/Jim sutton. but at first it was Michelle Bradley.

Validate the debt just like Federal law says you have to do and then you can claim someone owes money for a payday loan. Oh wait!!! You can't validate it?!! OH NO!!!!

My friend received a voice mail from this phone number today and they left a message. Before he could check the voice mail, they called his place of employment and told his boss that he was involved in fraud, and that they were going to contact the local County Police department and have him arrested. "If" they were a real collection agency, they would be shut down for too many complaints by consumers since you can't be arrested for debts unless you wrote a hot check, depending on where you live. This is a scam, and "Michael" and his associates are the lowest of the low.

If you have ever even applied for a payday loan online, and you were rejected, then the payday loan company sells your pertinent info that you provided, INCLUDING your Social Security number and address. Then after they have your info, they call and try to strong arm you into paying money you don't owe. Do not get swindled by these people because they are operating illegally and get to keep all of the hard earned money that you send them.

Try them also at (727) 456-8975. Their "Compliance Department" called me back from that number when I called asking too many questions such as their address and fax number.
