said that someone MAY have an important court matter.

This man calls every Sunday after 4pm and leaves a message that someone in my family has an important call matter and must return a call to 1-877-516-6568. I have received several calls. Really upsetting.

Just received a call, same thing. The guy had a middle eastern accent. Weird

They just called my cell phone. I ignored the call and they did not leave a message.

I keep receiving the same call.  I contacted my cell phone company and we have a block on that number.

Keep receiving recorded calls from man with  middle eastern accent. Recording says that "someone in this household may have an important court matter".  We have only had our current phone number for a few months.

this number keep calling me 6:17pm hawaii time but when i call it, they're closed!.. they keep calling me everyday,,,same time...

Called at 4:35 pm on a SUNDAY afternoon.  I did not answer - They left message, but it was a recorded message regarding an that had been cut off at the beginning but started with "...assist to resolve this matter.  We are open until 10pm CST M-Th, 9 pm CST on Friday, and 5 pm CST on Sat.  Again, your prompt attention to this..."  Interesting that they aren't open on a Sunday, but they can call on a Sunday....I call BS on this one.  I am also on the DNC list and have been for years, and regularly confirm that my number is still listed.  My credit is flawless and I have nothing that could pop up anywhere.

received a recorded call saying important municipal court matter and left an 800 # to call - but they spoke so fast even if was legitmate was not able to write the number down to call back anyway - so googled the above number  call was made from and found this post.

Recieved these calls a couple of times. Man says it's about an urgent court matter and to call the Municipal Services Department at 888-272-8579.  I imagine that if I was being sued I would have gotten something in the mail.  I'm not buying it. Going to add this number to my blocked calls.

Just received similar bogus call from said number. Hope someone can do something with these scammers.

I've been a call from them every day for a month now, they are trying to collect an 80$ ticket I got in TX, I kid you not 17 years ago, I got a registration ticket the same day I moved away from FL.  I have them on selective call forwarding to an IRS hotline # hahah now I never hear from them.

Lol. U all freaked me out. I though I had a warrent out for my arrest. When I called them back they asked me if I knew such n such. I had no idea who they were asking for. They said ok we will take u off our call list. Hope they do.

Several people I know have been getting scam calls where once they pick up an unknown number, they are baited. From the moment they pick up the phone, they are charged a fee similar to someone calling you collect. Because of these occurrences, I do NOT pick up that 18775166568 number. I've read so many posts and nobody seems to be getting through to an actual, valid company or company name. Seems like something seriously wrong is going on here (some underlying scheme). I have been sued by a real collection agency before and they sure don't act like these 1877 people. Real collection agencies have a website, valid company address, etc.  And, they are able to immediately give you the details of what you are being sued or billed for and name the exact company. These 1877 people are whishy washy.

Here is my suggestion and it finally worked for me when they call you insult their mother, there wife or husband their integrity and anything else you can think of. So long as you are not threatening them you can say whatever you want to and then just hang up. In about a month you will receive fewer phone calls and in about 3 to 4 months they will stop calling you all together. Worked for me. Have fun!

Wow - glad I read some of these posts. They keep calling me at work and I told them to stop but they won't.  I asked for a copy of the bill in the mail and they said they already sent it to me.  I haven't received anything and they said they would email me but I never got it.  Instead I get a bunch of crap emails. Now I know I'm not the only one.

They should check the statue of limitations per state before doing this stupidity. They calling me for some court fees from 7 years ago...well statue of limitation in my state if 4 years...so LICK ME

I made the mistake of paying barrowing the money ($1800.00) from my boss because MSB guaranteed me if I paid my fine to then I?d get my DL reinstated. Guess what they didn?t apply the money to the fine that had my DL suspended and I lost my job as a result. I?m a single parent with no family trying to raise my 3 year old daughter on my own now without a job and the State of Kansas is the real loser because they may have received $1800.00 but now they have to pay me $357.00 a week in unemployment benefits. REALLY SMART!

Brand new cell phone only 12 years old.  Immediately started getting calls

i have recived several calls from this number they never leave a message
i am on the do not call list  [which i update on a regular basis]
but they seem not to get the message
i dont know who they are  but its a pain in the a** to get these calls

Its a business that gets all your old tickets and calls yóu everyday till you pay it. I have an old parking ticket that I didn't pay and the state of new hampshire sent it to this collects office in texas. Way for the state to support their own economy right?  Anyways, I told them if the bill was legit to send it to me and they told me they have been but I never paid them. I asked them what address they had and they had a 2 year old address. Yet again, way to go nh for not even knowing where I live even though I changes it with the state. So I gave them my address and told them to stop calling me and they said they can't do that and I will keep getting collection calls. I get called 3-5 times a day everyday even weekends. I'm putting my name on the national DNC list and if they keep calling you bet I have a lawyer :)

Don't bother calling the person mentioned above. That poster is a liar who works for Municipal Services Bureau. They are aware of boards like these and troll them to try and make their business appear legitimate. They aren't. Don't give in. Change your number if you can't take it any more. Otherwise, bait them with your time for your own amusement.
