this is a legitimate call from Walgreens ( i am a beloved customer) checking on customer service and pharmacy customer service   again a legit call not telemarketing,  they care for their customers

I too received annoying calls.  I went to

and sent an email to "corporate" complaining about the practice.  If you bothered to look up the mystery number, perhaps you'll take a few minutes and complain in writing.  
I couldn't find any phone number for the CEO:-)

It is walgreens... You are right. And I never used them... Also, it was said to be a courtesy call. Courtesy? Don't call...that's courteous,...

I received a call from this number this afternoon,  but they did not identify themselves.  I had called Walgreen's around noon today.

Why not let us know who you are?

This is a call from Walgreens taking a survey of how you liked their service during a recent phone call/visit with them.
If you want to get rid of this call from them call the Walgreens where you do business and ask them to take your phone number off their lists- including the pharmacy because that is usually where they get your phone number from.
It is a true pain to get dozens of survey calls each time you have to call the pharmacy.
Chase Bank is another one that over does it with" praise us survey calls"-

Anyone want to list the corporate office number -- better yet, PLUS the names of the corporate officers.  I bet calls to THEM would get resounding results.

6/05 14:13 PDT  Only rang once, so believe it was an automated or robotic caller.  If, as some of the previous notes indicate, it was actually Walgreens, they should, at least minimally, ID themselves.  I had called earlier today to cancel an auto-refill, but since there was no ID, I would not have answered anyway.  Why do companies pull this on their customers.  Don't understand this stuff.  Not the way to win friends and influence people.

Leave a message or better yet don't call at all.

Had a prescription filled at Walgreen's and the next day received a call from 8775218213 and it was a survey.  I would not have given my cell phone number to the pharmacy if I knew I would then be part of a random survey.  I am NOT happy and there are many other competitors that can have my business other than Walgreen's.

WALGREENS anyone ever tried calling them back -  i get calls from different wallgreens i have never used...

I called Walgreens Headquarters 3 times so far to complain about these calls, which are so numerous I blocked them. I told them I was sick of them calling me literally 10 times a day sometimes, that they don't have any identifying info on the Caller ID which is a bit stupid in this day of being spammed and spoofed and harassed to death, and to PLEASE stop calling me. They said they have an Opt Out thing on their web site where you can sign in/sign up for a Walgreens account OR can call (like I did) and ask them to opt out of calls.  Problem is, if you WANT the calls alerting you when a prescription is ready or the status of one, this also stops those calls.  The two people I talked to at Walgreens Hq. kept insisting that 'the calls about prescriptions" and "the annoying nonstop calls about surveys or that you get every time you buy a pack of gum at Walgreens" were NOT the same thing, but they are. They also kept telling me that "the phone" should not be calling me relentlessly 3 or 4 times in an hour and hanging up after 3 rings if I don't answer.  No matter what I said to them or how i said it, they either don't realize how effed up their phone system is (which I really think, and believe me, I really do want to think they're just being purposely annoying) or they don't care how much they're harassing people. It seems you either GET calls from Walgreens or you do NOT, period.  

So my suggestion is to CALL Walgreens Corporate and complain about this. They are based in Illinois (847) 914-2500

They have a form you can fill out about if you think they have violated your privacy. This seems to apply to prescription info and things like that but I think calling you incessantly is violating my privacy. If they hear from enough people maybe they'll get it and if they are just playing dumb, maybe if they get harassed enough it'll dawn on them that they're losing business.

Called, didnd't leave a message.  Had this call before without leaving a voice mail message.  Will block it on my phone to prevent it coming thur again.

I so agree - All it would take to get a much larger (maybe even statistically significant) survey sample would be to identify themselves.   It's odd, because so much of there marketing is very smart ... and then, this thud/splat....I hope they read these comments - I wonder if they do.

Someone calls me at my cell number from 8775218213,  no voice, info, nothing.  Stop bothering me.

This number is from Walgreens.  It's a courtesy call to see if your needs were handled in an appropriate manner.  I just made a call to Walgreens this morning, maybe an hour ago, then received this call.  I ignored it, a slight message was left, however I called the number back and it was a recording saying they knew I called and that there wasn't anything else they needed from me.

Glad to know who it is. Thanks!  I called a couple times to check an RX status, picked it up, left the store, and they called while I was still in their parking lot!!!!!  Half hour later, they hit me again. No message.

I also called Walgreens about an hour ago. It drives me crazy that when you call your local pharmacy (in Florida) , you get a call center out of Orlando. I have to ask to be transferred to my local pharmacy. The call center will tell you incorrect , outdated, information.

called walgreens local #.  They can put you on their do not call list - but, then you don't get calls telling you rx ready. Said that that was requested - survey calls were NOT. But their system can't differentiate - so either you get the automatic call with everything, including surveys AND rx ready, or NOTHING...

Why do we even both to get on the do not call list....

Walgreens ROBOT -  Walgreens takes your caller ID if you call their clinic or pharmacy.  They then put you on a spam / auto dial list.  This violates the national do not call act.  Anyone on the national do not call registry should file a complaint with the FTC

calls at 8pm and no message -- fed up with these calls - please stop!!!!
