My mother received this text on her cell phone:  "This is an automated message from Health Facilities FCU your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate call urgent at 877-526-9331"  I did call the number from a different phone and got an automated answering service that states that it is Health Facilities FCu and to reactivate my atm card I needed to type in the account #, then they ask for the expiration date, and the 4 digit pin number!  I didn't give them any information, but I was also unable to speak with a live person. I did find a company by the same name and I plan on emailing them. I have found other comments about this number and another name was used using the same number "Franklin Bank"

Got same call from Franklin Bank, same number.
Husband twice in one day and son twice in one day. Both on Sprint Cells.
None of us called the number, son is cop, so we knew better.
We got the calls from two different numbers, the first one is: 877-496-6201
Second number was: 877-526-9331

We are an inbound call center and we are receiving the same calls representing themselves as Franklin Bank.  Our employees are also getting texts stating they need to call the number to re-activate their card.  We began receiving these texts and calls today.  We too attempted to call some of the numbers the calls are coming from and get a fast busy.  We hope this scam gets eradicated.

The same texts are going on in Texas. Boost Mobile phones are receiving texts to reactivate their atm cards with Franklin Bank.  I pray these thieves are unable to con anyone. I called the number and get a fast busy signal. Why would the FBI not want to get involved?

I am the CEO of Health Facilities FCU in Florence, SC. We started gettoing phone calls from people early this afternoon. It appears from our investigation that Sprint/Nextell customers were targeted. We did have a number of members who called us but we received a large number of emails and phone calls from non-members. We have ttempted to get Sprint Corporate Security to respond to no avail and have had trouble getting the FBI involved. I have a meeting with the head of their cyper crime squad for th state of South Carolina tomorrow morning.

Thanks for all your posts. Hopefully they will help catch the bad guys.

I also received this message.  I was in a meeting at work along with 8 co-workers and within 15 minutes, we each got the text message to call about re-activating our suspended ATM card from Health Facilities FCU.  We called it and put in a "dummy" card number along with a pin and of course, they said "It was invalid" and to please try again.  Identity theft is on the rise, and I hope people realize what's going on before it's to late!
