All sounds the same as my situation.  Yet, I called back the number many times and talked to someone.  Also, talked to someone April of this year and they sent a receipt by email to me.  This is extremely upsetting.  Please if anyone has any other information please post.

The great deal did not take me by surprise because the year before we had a similar deal and we went to Cancun as the deal stated--no problems

If you had contact with International Destinations it was a scam. We called to book our vacation in Hawaii and were told that only one hotel was accepting reservations, it was a cut rate hotel not featured on their website and none of the featured hotels ever has done business with I.D.. The hotels told me this company is a scam and gave me some of the other names they have used in past scams.

They scammed us too. they have been doing this for years under many different names. So far I have found four different anti-scam websites with complaints against them.

I just fell into the scam of the 866-503-3524, discounted vacation to mexico.

Did you ever find out if it was fraud or not? We recently made reservations and put 800 down not doing research first and ran into this!

Chase argeed to refund my over 600 USD, not sure from who's pocket thou.

While the charge was still pending, I called Chase to reject it. The Chase person on the phone said it might not go through or I can dispute after it went to my account. Right now I am still in the dispute stage. Not sure whether I can get it back.

I asked Chase how to report this type of crime. The Chase person did not give much info. except the name of "Better Business Bereau"

I actually placed a vacation package with these people and they seemed legit. Did anyone else buy anything from them and got scammed? meaning did anyone buy a vacation package and had gone to the destination only to find out there was no reservation under their names?

Please help....

I think I was just scammed by international-destinations.com as well.  Did you get your money back?  I am so upset and mad at myself!

I did the research and it is a SCAM......these people are rude and curse at you and hang up on you if you dont want to give them your credit card information now.  

Hope you get to go on the vacation and dont get credit card fraud.....takes time sometimes even years to get your identity back...good luck to you.

I called about the fax I received these people sounded foreign and the one guy hung up when I asked what the company is that offered the package so I called back and got another man on the line he said the packages offered (100 total) were already sold out but his manager will approve the pricing as long as I was not taking any kids and then the price is available to me for 18 months and no blackout dates.  I told the man I needed to talk to the others going and her called me curse words and hung up.

Scam. They got me. I figured out the next day after I give them my credit card. I asked to cancel and they won't allow.  I'll try to get my money back through my credit card company. Seems hard though.

BTW: anyone who does business with a company like this, that is already engaged in illegal activities has got to be a stupid idiot.

It's scam. They did not answer any questions and just pushed you to book. In the beginning, I booked the Jamaica package. Very lucky! My credit card company monitored this and did not pay and sent me an alert. I checked out and found out it's a scam.

I did the above steps to complain about faxes.

When International destinations ask me to commit I said I needed to research the company before I would give a credit card number and they hung up on me. I called back and started to tell this to the next person and she hung up on me too. I called a third time and was told they were not there to answer questions about ligitimacy, if I wanted to book a vacation..then I should book it and was hung up on again.

We've been getting faxes through these people also! I called and the gentlemen hung up on me also! I calle dback and i told the guy that answered the phone that i had the number removed.

Got a fax from them today...have gotten them in the past, too - usually once every month or so.  Today's fax was a doozy - 6 days 5 nts in Cancun, Jamaica, or Dominican for the low price of $175, meals included!  PLUS a bonus vacation for free - 4 days 3 nts in Las Vegas!!!!  lol

Would be wonderful if it were true, but it smells like Scam and eggs...

I had the exact same problem with them!  Exact!  I've turned them in to the National Do Not Call registry.  Maybe they can get something done.

SCAM, they got me!

We have over 100 locations and each have received a fax to call this number for a vacation to Concun, Jamaica & Dominican Republic for $175.  However, the "Memo" is reportedly from HR, which is FRAUD.  This is misrepresentation as bad as it gets. The phone number to call to remove the fax is 1-888-393-1379.  We called the 877 number and was hung up on 5 times when we asked what company they were with or to speak to anyone else.

Called 877-533-7050 and asked to have my number removed.  I was told to "lose the attitude" and he hung up on me.  I'd like to strangle these people.  This has to be the 3rd or 4th time I've called to be removed from their "list".  I'd love to bill them for the paper and the ink!

With a ton of effort you can trace this company back to their website hosting provider as well as the company they use to protect their identity (the owners of the website).

Go file a complaint at www.privacyprotect.org against www.international-destinations.com

Then go to file a complaint with the company they use to connect their office and/or their web server to the Internet. This company is www.softlayer.com which apparently owns their Internet provider company (theplanet.com).

File the ISP complaint by e-mailing abuse@softlayer.com

The more people that file a complaint they will very soon be hunting another home for their scamming
